3rd freeze on Beast wave 12

I've had to eject the disc 3 times in 24hrs when playing beast.

1. Yesterday afternoon played couple of games splitscreen with my son with no
problems until we got to Raven Down, in wave 12 it froze, we could still hear all
the one shots & backgound noise of the game. No buttons responded.

2. Yesterday night playing with some friends (no splitscreen), 2 of them froze while
playing on Aftermath on wave 12. They had to eject game. Later on it happened to
me alone on Raven Down again, they had no problems.

3. This afternoon playing again splitscreen with my son, Aftermath wave 12 (3rd try),
exactly the same problem as 1 above. before this we had played on Jacinto with no
problems at all.

Maybe not play beast? No i don't know bro, maybe there's something wrong with your Gears 3 disc.

Already done that bro, that's why Im here & my son is playing ME.

Have game installed & disc looks mint.

Im thinking to many things going on wave 12,
sometimes you cannot even move with the berserker,
fire sentry, oneshot, hammer of dawn, silverbacks, turrets,
23 guys shooting at you all at the same time... too much.

Well, I was going to say that maybe the game got overloaded on Raven Down.
But if it happened on Aftermath too (which is a big map) then I have no clue.

Have you tried playing another disk?
--you said it is installed, and looks fine...but it's worth a shot

Hi bro, no I have not tried another disk. Extra long weekend over here,
so I wont be able to do so until Tuesday atleast.

It's frozen in Horde previously but not like this, last night I also played
horde with 3 friends on Jacinto with no problems, but 1 of my friends did
freeze at the end of a wave, seems he had lost connection.

edit: when it happened in Aftermath we had tried wave 12 three times,
no problems (well only one, we got killed ), in one of the attempts we
had 2 enemies left, time run out.
Wave froze when hearing like multiple oneshots being aimed at me,
apart from all the other stuff going on at the same spot of the map.

Yikes. I was going to say install it but it seems as you already did that. Did you try playing it on Local? I mean like signed off?? If it works there then it is probably your connection. If that doesn't work,sorry. I hope you get it fixed somehow.

happening to me too on Aftermath. Game is installed on my hdd too. Framerate goes to crap and once they all start firing..... Freeze

ooohhh.... im not the only one, was it on wave 12 too.
did you have to re try the wave.

Tried playing offline, beast is normal beast and it works 100%. No freeze.
The thing is I want to play event beast but now it looks risky.

Also connection wise could be, but when I played with 4 friends,
2 of them froze and they where not on the same xbox.

When I played with my son it was only him & me.

Sounds to me like it may be something to do with the event...
I've played 3 games of beast so far during this event with no problem...so it isn't effecting everyone.

I'm sure that at the end of the event, it will be fine for you.
...but it does suck for you, and I have no idea what would be wrong :/

Yes it started yesterday afternoon, but only on Raven Down after playing several
other games of Beast on other maps. and I do think its event related, well at least
I've played it for a bit, will play horde later.

Two wave 12 freezes for me. One on Ravens Down and one on Blood Drive. Once in split screen with daughter, once playing "solo" online. Both in Open games. So much for Gears 3 this weekend.

I was going to start a thread about this! Two wave 12 freezes for me too!!! Yesterday on Blood Drive and today on Hotel. I'm glad I'm not alone, I thought my disk was scratched or something, but it's kind of sad, I really wanted to play the new Beast

Yep looks like this is becoming a common issue.
There's just too much going on at once with the MANY enemies.

For the ones that are not freezing - are you on a Slim design Xbox?
I'm on a RE5 Edition Xbox 360 Elite.

My friend who has the 20gig (white) xbox played last night with me...and he was fine
I don't think it is the xbox model....

I own a slim 8 months old,
right now my son and I just finished wave 12 in aftermath,
we completed the wave 1st attempt, I can tell you that the enemies where not
as intense this time round, well that's how it seemed to my son and I.

now he only needs to do artillery and cove. will inform if freeze happens again.

Played beast yesterday, notices that the last wave had 23 enemies. My first thought was, there is no way in hell that my new xbox can handle 23 people running around, all explosions and shooting. Were I right? Yeah, 30 secs in the screen froze and the sound was still in the background. Occurred two times, mercy & raven down, then I just gave up.
