Well slutty is even worse. She's closer to flirtatious than to slutty. Like I said, its the animation in the comics that makes her look even close to questionalble, and that would be taken care of by copying her body model from any other female char to hers and just slapping a new head on. I dont know when EPIC said that, but I hope its not true cuz that just a cop out, mang.

But thats why we have carmines. If they make another faceless gear it should be the last carmine.

In my opinion at least, Carmine Brothers are not generic. They have different personalities (though underdeveloped) and many people relate to them through their own roles in the family (oldest or youngest of their siblings). Although I strongly support the last Carmine (D. Carmine) becoming a MP character, i do not think of them as generic characters at all

Thats the beauty of it. He's like a "Master Chief" character. YOU BECOME CLASSIC GEAR. When he throws grenades, you FEEL the roughness of them as they slide through your fingertips to bring death on YOUR enemies. When he chainsaws a kantus, its YOUR eardrums that are blown out by his scream of death and anger. When he's down, and Sam pats his back to revive him, YOU FEEL her soft hand on your back and makes YOU go:


Classic Gear is a god-tier character because while Marcus' destiny was to stop the Locust and Lambent, Classic Gear's destiny hasn't been written yet. He could become a friggin janitor or the savior of the universe. The beauty is that its UP TO YOU.

I want D. Carmine to have his own story. Carmines are underdeveloped as you said and if they give the last brother his own, Epic story i think Epic games could make up for it (not that i'm blaming them).

D. Carmine should have custom armor like Clay. I don't see wearing a mask as being "faceless". There is still a face under that helmet.

regarding D. Carmine, i mentioned somewhere before that i was actually hopeing Epic would take on a different approach if/when they decide to bring him into the picture. Since the first 3 Carmines are "faceless" in a sense like you said, why not make the last brother an exception? perhaps give him a face and personality as well as a crucial role in the story? maybe he's only one not shy in the family and doesn't mind showing his face

in the same boat as you. not a fan of the Gears 3 style armor (sleeveless)......the only one that looks decent in sleeveless armor is Barrick IMO

Go halo 1 style, at the end of his story he takes of his helmet to reveal....another helmet. :/

I wouldnt mind recruit clay type armour ( its how clay should have always looked IMO, the voice doesnt fit current ripped clays body.)

they made a very poor decision to have the same voice actor to play Clay...his appearance in the game + his high pitched voice makes him seem like a pubescent boy on roids

same here. originally, from looking at the posters/pictures of Clay before the release of the game, i thought he was going to be the type of older brother who is much more mature/serious as a result of having to defend his 3 younger brothers throughout his entire life. an older brother who is constantly annoyed at the immaturity/lack of experience of his younger siblings but at the same time would thrown down his own life for any of them.

but turns out he's just as immature as the other two...sigh

I was thinking he was going to be an absolute bad-ass, not someone who disappears at the start of act 2 and shows up during the last chapter for 20 seconds and then goes down in a helicopter. He felt thrown in at the last second to me.

Epic could release a Character Pack with 3 COG characters (Classic Hoffman, Classic Tai, Classic Gear) and 3 Locust (Cyclops, Skorge, Bolter/Classic Sniper)...I'd pay MSP for that!

None of those are the same character, except Golden CoG and CoG and the Clays. Personally I think a standard CoG would serve more purpose than a Big Rig Dizzy

They don't add too much variety and he would be virtually unnoticed. I'd rather have stranded as playable characters than this Classic Gear.

Couldn't agree more, which is a shame because Micheal Gough is an incredibly skilled voice actor and he has a ton of vocal range.
Listening to Gears 1 Anthony voice makes me think he is more suited to Clay than his current one is. =/ Overall, Gough could of easily made him sound more brutish and older but Epic's voice director obviously told him to do the "Classic" Carmine voice so people could "Identify" him easier. =/
