Changing the lighting

How can I change the default lighting in my scene. I didn't choose the stock night scene that I wanted to at the start because I thought it would be easy later but I can't seem to figure it out. Thanks.

Just make a new light, if you want it night time use a directional light that's very dark, maybe a little blue.

I wouldn't actually use the default sky scenes, they aren't very realistic.
