    Default Compatibility Issues, please help

I am running UDK 32bit on vista 32bit and can get maps from friend who uses Windows7 64bit and UDK 64bit. When I send him maps back his UDK crashes. We have tried running his UDK as 32bit editor on his computer but doesn't help anything. He makes maps and I animate please help!

UDK doesn't save as 64-bit versions, so that's not the issue.

However, if you're using a newer version of UDK then he won't be able to open the files you save.

there is a 64 bit version of UDK go to binaries and win64 there you would find the 64 bit version on my windows7 64 bit pc when i compile scripts i get UDK64 bit written on the commandlet menu, so i don't know what you are saying, anyway it happened to me too, i guess you can't transfer files from different bit, there was someone who would give me a file from his windows 64 bit computer and UDK would crash i would check the log and won't find anything that i would recognize only an appcrash,

I mean map files, the map files and package files are the same for both versions.
