Who Were The Missing Alpha Squad/Cole's Squad Members From Gears 1 & 2

I always just assumed there were 4 members in each squad in the Gears franchise but I can't think who's missing from Cole's squad anyone know?

Gears 1:

Alpha Squad: Cole, Baird, Rojas, ???? ( Gyules, aka Jed Carmine lol thanks Marceant & SKORGE)
Original Delta: Marcus, Dom, Kim, A. Carmine

Gears 2:

Sigma Squad: (Thanks Jonesybites) Cole, Baird, Tanner, ????
Original Delta: Marcus, Dom, Tai, B. Carmine

Gears 3:

Alpha Squad: Cole, Baird, Clayton, Sam
Original Delta: Marcus, Dom, Jace, Anya

Actually, in the second game, the name of the squad Baird & Cole were in was Sigma...but you are correct on the first game. Only Rojas was mentioned by name, unless the comics clarified otherwise.

EDIT: Coalition's End mentions Baird and Cole's previous squad assignments, but wether they were the same squadmates in the first game, I do not know.

Damn, thought I got it wrong with the squad names lol My wifes read all four books but never said anything to me lol Everytime I start reading the books I just get a hankering to play Gears lol

Yeah, that was Gyules.

The soldier that is gunned down on the street as they retreat into the building is unknown and never named.

In Gears of War two, the last one is also never named as he is a redshirt and they seldom get names.

I assume Rojas was in charge of Alpha in Gears 1? He's mentioned frequently, and apparently it says somewhere he's a Sgt., and Baird isn't allowed to be in charge at the time.
