This map pack centers around Beast characters, add-ons, multiplayer skins, and weapon skins. Although there are some maps its mostly about characters.
Beast add-ons; 3 new game modes.
Infection: Beast with lambent rules, you are a team of lambents and you have to spread the imulsion disease amongst the survivors. You gain money by destroying defences and infecting humans. Once all of the humans are infected (or brutally murdered in gears terms) the rounds over and it moves on.
Mirror'd: Basically reverse horde, you have a certain amount of respawns to kill off the infinite amount of COG. There is a certain score you have to get to pass the round. Every 5 rounds you have to gain a certain amount of points to get promoted. Once promoted you have access to new locusts and you need to gain more points the next rounds. Every ten rounds, the locust with the most points gets to choose a boss to devestate as. Although, the boss has one life. Dont forget you can only choose a boss corresponding to the round. (Note: You have access to EVERY locust in the horde, no lambent with exception to bosses)
Slaughterhouse: Two teams, 1 locust and 1 lambent. About 40-50 humans spawn each round (for 3 rounds) and the 4 players on each team has to battle to the death to rack up their kill-meter. However, locust or lambent kills do not count, you MUST kill humans to score. At the end when either the time is up or all the humans are murdered, the team with the highest amount of kills wins the round.
Beast add-ons; Game-mode characters.
Infection; Lambent Wretch (same rules as wretch but explodes) - 50 Points,
Nemacyte (The things inside the big worm, they are basically wild tickers) - 25 Points,
Lambent Drone (Same rules as savage drone but wields a hammerburst and explodes) - 200 Points,
Lambent Drudge (Its basically a big slow walking Lambent Drone, when halfway dead, you have the choice to pick what to mutate into. If you press up on the D-pad he will have the one headsnake that can crawl *you cant control when its crawling*. If you press right on the D-pad he will make two headsnakes on his shoulders. If you press down on the D-pad he will turn into a tree and can spawn polyps * I dont know what you call the tall ones that make polyps, i like to call them trees :3, also you cant control the Polyps*. Lastly, if you press left on the D-pad you simply charge and explode.) - 1000 Points,
Polyp (can jump like a wretch and spit a shot of imulsion out of its mouth) - 25 Points,
Lambent Human - (Basically sprint and claw, runs VERY fast and can crawl under/over objects aswell) - 500 Points,
Lambent Gunker (Basically works like a butcher, except the machete goes super far, and he can throw compressed imulsion balls that it explode *Imulsion balls have a target beam like the torque bow*) - 4000,
Lambent Berserker (Works like a berserker but can leap over objects, run faster, explode on death, and fire imulsion out of his tenticals. at 1/4 of his death he leaks imulsion and so on) - 7000.
Mirror'd boss choices; Since listing every locust in horde would be way to annoying, i'd rather just say the bosses.
Round 10: Savage Corpser - 800 (can tunnel underground), Reaver - 2000 (Can float in mid-air and fire boomshot missles).
Round 20: Gunker - 3000 (works like it does in infection), Armored Kantus - 4000 (Works like it does in beast).
Round 30: Theron Elite - 4000 (Works like it does in RAAM's shadow, except has armor), Mauler Elite - 3500 (Works like it does in RAAM's shadow except it has armor).
Round 40: Giant Seripede - 4000 (works like it does in Beast), Berserker - 5000 (Works like it does in beast).
Round 50: Lambent Berserker - 7500 (Works like it does in Infection). And lastly, the one you've all been waiting for.... drumroll..... Brumak - 10000 (Works like it does in Gears of war 2, you can move around, press y to switch between the guns. Gun 1 = Chaingun, gun 2 = Rocket turret. Has giant amount of HP and causes a giant explosion radius on death.)
Slaughterhouse;
Locust - Wretch, Ticker, Drone, Bloodmount, Boomer, Berserker.
Lambent - Lambent Wretch, Polyp, Lambent Drone, Drudge, Gunker, Lambent Berserker.
Multiplayer Skins: Skorge, Palace Guard, Armoured Kantus, Bai Tak, Gold-Armoured Raam, Palace Myraah, D-Carmine, Cyclops, Farmer Dom, Classic Hoffman, Classic Tai, Bigshot Griffen.
Weapon Skins: Insane Camo (Has the insane logo on it), Spiritual (Sorta looks like what the Pack-a-punch did to guns in Call of duty: World at war), Purple (National gay-color ftw), Ghost (Makes the weapon a shade of white and slightly transparent), Lambent (Makes the gun glow an imulsion color and sometimes shoots out imulsion liquid out of the sides, but of course the imulsion doesnt do damage. Rarely, the bullets you shoot out of the gun look like what the Drudges shoot), Corrosion (Rusty, corroded and rotting), Bacon (I eat bacon for breakfest, lunch, and dinner. I will die by the age of 25)
Maps: Highway; now consumed by water and the lambent disease. Few loyal locusts have set up camp in the remains of the Hollow. (Map special - Locust Palace Guards followed by a Brumak can be seen walking the tilting highway. When close to the center of it, the bridge collapses and the locust fall into the water and drown.)
Diaspora; during the locust diaspora they did not know where to go, whether to stay in the remains of the hollow or to set up a new fortress on the surface, battle in the midsts of a locust desert stronghold. (Map special - A gas barge floats overhead the stronghold)
Way Station; The war machines forged by the locust slaves have been halted by the lambent infection, and a war for survival has broken out in this outpost. (map special - The carts turn on for a few seconds and roll down the hallway, carrying boxes of incendiary grenades *you can shoot these and they burst into flames*)
Security; Formely a secret facility to obscure the SIREs from the rest of the world, they have broken free at last and the COG who have settled here are utterly screwed. (Map special - at half time, 4 sires appear out of the building that contains the lazer switch and attack both factions.)
Mal'strom; The great spire that forms a natural hurricane around Azura is active, but COG forces have infiltrated it and a battle began. (Map special - Mal'strom explodes in the background and everything becomes pretty)
Wet Works; Battle ontop of the Soverin and rain doom upon your enemys by springing the many traps on board! (Map Special - A leviathin pops out of the water, roars, and then dives back in the water causing the boat to shake) Traps: Fire trap - Located on both ends of the deck. *burns people* Steam trap - Located in the center. *Stuns people* (Easter egg: If you do the steps of the easter egg in the second mission of the campaign, a giant chicken will appear ontop of the bridge and will throw down a Cluck-shot, and then run off.)
