I don't see why they shouldn't come back. Maybe along with Alex Brand and Classic Gear for the COG side of the spectrum.

I am thinking Skorge and Cyclops will maybe come with Thrashball Drone, Classic Hoffman and Classic Tai. Maybe they will also add newer Locust like Savage Beast Rider for example.

of course they are wanted, there is no need for more achievements but some more DLC is always welcome for Gears of War. I don't preoccupy myself with other games DLC but Gears of War is a game in its own league of excellence

I think THE most requested character skins (and the ones that are most likely to be included.) are:

Classic Hoffman
Classic Tai
Skorge
Cyclops

Which is quite handy as they could call this a "Classic" pack or whatever.
They could either release these by themselves or make them part of a map pack with 1-2 or two Classic maps if they feel like being nice. (Canals and Mausoleum would be nice to see.)
400 msp without maps, 800 msp with maps.
Simple.

Make it happen, Epic. You have all the assets you could probably get this pack together in a day or two without the maps and people WILL buy it.
You just have to wait to get it authorized by M$.

That is exactly my point, I have heard there is another DLC pack coming so maybe Skorge and Cyclops will be included in that along with various other new Locust Characters. It would make sense to add Cyclops and Skorge into the latest DLC pack as the community have been asking for them for a while now. Lets see that the future holds.

I definitely agree with that idea of The_Besty. Personally I think that Skorge and Cyclops should have already been on the disc but hopefully EPIC will see sense and add them in the latest DLC pack that is upcoming.

I agree about Palace Guard and Armored Kantus something can be done if they work at it! Also Skorge and Cyclops need to come back as they were playable in Gears 2 plus they have high demand from the community on the forums and over on twiter for Gears 3

Well we know that there's scaling issues regarding Palace Guard but why can't EPIC just use a Theron Body and color it Gold. Skorge and Cyclops however there is no problem so EPIC will definitely add those guys in future due to popular demand.

Well Cyclops weren't originally meant to be playable in Gears of War 3 in the first place. The only confusing thing is, is the fact he was playable in Gears 2 and was extremely popular. The same issue is with Skorge he is the Main Villain from the previous game and is not included in Gears 3, so basically he is in the same situation as Cyclops. So the whole reason why I created this thread is to show EPIC that us the Community want them bringing back to the latest Gears installment.

Well I think out of those Locust you listed Skorge and Cyclops are the most Characters that people want bringing back. Bolter and Troika Gunner are just behind them. As far as I am concerned EPIC should do an Anniversary DLC pack which should contain all those characters.

I agree I want more Gears of War 3 DLC. I hope EPIC plan on making more seen as there is still many things missing like Skorge and Cyclops for example. They were playable in the previous game and there is still no sign of them. Well I can only think that with the High Demand they have there is only hope they will eventually get added sometime in the Future.

I wish the Palace Guard would get added but It would seem a waste if they took off there helmet for multiplayer seen as there helmet is a big part of there character. The only thing I can think off is if they colored a Theron Body Gold then add the Palace Guard helmet to that skin.

That's like saying why add the Savage Kantus LE when we have the original Savage Kantus. In this case with Cyclops they are totally different characters to the Beast Rider, Cyclops are far more badass than Beast Rider and you can tell the difference between the characters despite there similar resemblance. EPIC should definitely add Cyclops seen as he was playable and popular in Gears of War 2. All EPIC need to do is get the Drone multiplayer skin and add the Cyclops Helmet from Horde 2.0 and place it onto the character skin. Done! its a 10 minute job maximum.

Maybe your right I can't believe Thrashball Drone didn't stay considering they let us have him as a playable character for a brief time. Well at least there's a chance he will get added with Skorge and Cyclops sometime in the coming months.

Hey guys!

If adding the Cyclops was as easy as many of you implied, we'd have done it long ago. I'm not saying it can't be done, but I am saying it can't be done without a patch. The work in porting over the AI Cyclops to a playable MP character is significantly more involved than you'd think, in ways that I won't bore you in explaining, suffice to say that its not just as simple as "strap a helmet on a drone and call it done".

Glad there's such a call for this guy though, he has always been one of my favorites as well!
