Wtf do i have to do to play on dedicated servers?I need to buy forces of nature too?i dont want to!I searched on the forum and read many posts saying that playing on dedicated servers is not possible without having Fenic rising DLC...Can anyone help me plz cause in really pissed right now.....im experiencing horrible lag and host dc all the time...thx in advance!!!!

yup, you need FON AND FR map packs, to play on ALL playlists,
Or you can play TDM NO DLC & PLayers Choice, both on ded. servers if you don't wish to purchase them all.

Well if this is true than to hell with EPIC..Love gears but this is juts plain wrong....Having to buy one DLC for playing on dedicated servers is one thing but having to buy each one every time in order to play without lag is messed up...Bought my 360 again just for this game and now this is what i get.....

It is true mate.
But again, TDM NO DLC & Players Choice ARE on ded. servers.
DLC is not unique to Epic, COD does the same for example, only they don't provide ded. servers, Epic do.

yeah but i bought this dlc cause i wanted to play those maps...Anyways my mistake that i didnt know that but there should have been an official announcement...or maybe i didnt find it...

Oddly enough, FON doesn't even guarantee dedicated servers.

No... The Forums don't make much sense...
People complain to use the search bar, and when people actually do they complain about bumping an old thread.

To play on dedicated servers you will need all of the map packs that have been released (Versus Booster, Fenix Rising, Forces of Nature). If you do not have all three of these map packs, you may still play on dedicated servers in the Player's Choice and TDM No DLC playlists.

well i have the same problem and i cant play on the maps of fenix rising what is the purpose of buying the dlc if i cant play it wth that sucks

I like it the most. It's better than CoD WaW when you would get booted if you didn't have the maps, or Halo Reach where DLC maps never came up unless EVERY person had the DLC in the lobby. This way the DLC maps are in regular rotation without a special playlist. Also, Dedicated Servers cost money, so paying for the DLC helps. Originally Posted by DoomCryer

I can't believe people have the nerve to complain about this... It's not like Epic is making you pay for the maps in order to play online... You can play online just fine, most of the time you can't even notice if a game is on host or server. Epic has every right to do this, the people who buy the most recent maps deserve to have the best multiplayer experience, and they deserve to have the maps come up in the cycle. It makes no sense for epic to set up servers which don't even have the new maps in them... That's just ripping us off for the money we paid for the new maps. If you ask me 3200 points for a season pass which included 4 very good DLC's is more than worth it, stop complaining and just play!
