Hi,
I found a few threads that kind of talk about what I am experiencing but figured I may as well start a new so Epic can hopefully see this isn't an isolated experience.
About me:
I'm on a 25/5Mbps Comcast cable connection in Seattle and hard wired into my router and typically my computer is off so no extra bandwidth is being used. I'm not that great of a player but I'm not that bad and I've been playing gears for awhile now so I have a good feeling when hits should land and what not. I kill about as many times as I get killed in other words.
The issue:
In just about every vs game I play now days there is at least 1 or 2 people that I like to call supermen. Not saying these guys are amazing or anything, in fact watching them most of them really suck. Its just that shots that would normally down someone don't on these guys and their shots never miss and hit like trucks, even from ranges that shouldn't be possible. Its not hard to replicate, join just about any match and you'll find one of these guys sooner or later. I don't believe this to be a latency issue as my buds all experience the same issue and a few of them are even on fiber connections.
This isn't a rant, this is a I love gears and hate to see any issues with it. Maybe someone can give some useful advice or maybe a dev will look into it more.
Thanks for taking the time to read my thread.
-D
