Hits not registering and too much hit registering?

Well, here is what it comes down to, Epic doesn't want to pay for dedicated servers so everything pretty much has gone to player to player hosting. Esp. connections from mexico are equal to an awful lag that needs to be fixed. King of the hill playlist had become very bad that last few weeks and to tell you the truth i am getting very tired of it. This game has become the crap that was gears two as far as connections go. But, epic won't answer your questions because they know what the are doing and people will just quit playing their game I am close but, I paid too much money and enjoy the game when there is not a ton of lag and cheaters, ya know....enjoi...

not just epic but all of the gaming industry i believe will only have so many and for a limited time dedicated servers. the beta for example imo was near flawless, but servers were up all over the place for everyone to enjoy the game and want to buy it day 1. dedicated servers are not for free, and remember microsoft put up a lot of money for the game to go as smoothly as possible. time has gone by since launch, so it is very possible that there isnt many servers up and running. i guess we have to get lucky and land in one. IMO

I have found the same thing happening too. Almost every one is from Mexico. yesterday a double barrel at point blank range and a torque bow followed by a retro would not stop the guy before he killed everyone of us. Same day shot a guy in the head with boom shot and did not even down him he killed me right afterwards. This is a bad joke and it is not funny everyone i know is experiencing the same thing. And almost all are from Mexico ......99% of them that leaves about 1% that is hacks...lag on other people or what ever. Solution should be simple pull the mexico connection and move it to its own server let them play with each other.

I feel you man. I'm on the east coast and still the same problem. Not being racist its just they seem like the biggest sponges of all. Dont get me wrong there's a very small select few out there that seems fine but thats about it. But the problem isnt with just Mexico players it's the connection overall. You get into a match and it feels decent then the next match it feels like the bottom fell out. Oh and you can forget about playing during the day in the middle of the week when there is a small population on. I wish there was a fix for this problem because Gears has always been my main game since gears 1. There isn't anything else out there that can offer the play style gears does.....YET?! Hopefully Judgement at the least will have a solution, but I would much rather see a patch or something to fix Gears 3 to get me by until judgement. Looking at all these posts on the issue throughout the forums it doesnt look promising. But heres to still hoping right?

Thats why this game is declining fast, catering to bad connections, i hope they fix it

Sounds like there is an army of mexicans taking over the servers lol. I avoid the online due to lag issues and players taking bullets like Spongebob Square Pants. Rather than moan, move on to something else.

I'm a west coaster too and it's not just mixing with opponents from Mexico where this happens, also Canada and really so it seems all international servers. It takes the fun out of the game when you can't down your opponent, or out maneuver, or out run them because their connection trumps yours for whatever reason! I'm sure Epic is fully aware of this problem and if they were going to address it, they would have already. I love this game, but Epic sucks!

One solution: if you have lots of friends choose with whom you want to play, don't stay in a laggy room, which it seems are most rooms these days....

In Australia we have a similar problem but with people from hong kong. 1 game im ****ing everythings fine the next a party of Asians join and everything turns to ****. It's made worse by the fact that most of them use retro and shoot Hiroshima Nagasaki's out of it. Definitely would like to hear an explanation as to why this problem occurs along with epic admitting that the hit-boxes are different instead of saying they are the same or there different but it isn't enough to matter both which are excuses i have heard from epic employees.
