5 rounds for Guardian?

I am enjoying the mode, maps are great, Jacinto..meh, Ivory...annoying, but great DLC so far. Since guardian games are finished within 4 minutes it actually feels boring, I get one or two kills and then round over, at the end I might have 7-8 kills (that's if things turn out great).

So what I'm asking should rounds needed to win be increased to 5 rounds, I mean this benefited execution greatly, vote gear heads so I can see how you guys feel about this change, much love.

Yes, execution is beautiful because of the 5 rounds now, I know I'm talking sense here to increase the rounds, Epic please consider this.

What happened is that I'm the Leaders bodyguard since everyone runs out, someone needs to protect him. Anyway the leader was a level 2 so he was inexperienced, as I was with him, he started shooting his sawed to an enemy that was a good 30 feet from us (it was adorable) then out of nowhere 4 people rushed him, and ran out away. I managed to slam 3 people but was killed by the sawed off, as I was waiting to spawn he died so I couldn't clutch it :/

Be sure to come back and vote, execution/warzone had this issue too, rounds and matches were ended in a blink of an eye but after the change they play great. Epic increase the rounds to 5 rounds to win, it will only benefit this mode.

I prefer the sunny Jacinto, but the removal of the sand bags and stuff to prevent camping is good.

Vote people, don't you guys think matches are finishing too fast, the longest match I've played so far is 4 minutes, that's not fun.

yeh i agree the removal of the sandbags and 1 way walls makes it better but the other paths to mortar and boom werent needed, apart from that the map is greta but doesnt work for guardian for me :/ but yeah id like 5 rounds, since now jacinto is the way it is the rounds end far to quick. i remember id be playing guardian on jacinto for like 30 mins per game endless fun but now its over in like 2 mins. also raven down? hahah why not bring back security or any other great guardian map. pfft

Actually matches end soo fast you get shocked, I remember the 30 minute games, good times. I want this modes speed and rounds to match execution/warzone, then we will have fast but longer and meaningful games.

After playing Guardian a lot, the rounds do typically go quicker than gears 2. That said, the rounds are still longer than a typical exuction/warzone round so I think 3 rounds is about right. I would like to see a buff too the EXP modifier however. I had a round hit 13 mins on jacinto. Once people learn to play as the leader and not rush the game should last longer.

no....execution/warzone have 5 rounds but also a TIME LIMIT...a guardian ends when the leader dies but what if the leaders stay alive for long time?
who's is gonna wait for 5 rounds?
maybe 4 would be ok but 5 NO FOR ANY REASON...

5 rounds solve partially the problem.... another thing I've considered is that the spawn point be always the same in a round for each team, frequently the enemies spawn just behind the leader.

3 is long enough for me. just like most wz/ex matches, if one team dominates the other, the game is fast. if the teams are equal, the game lasts quite a while (and has potential to go far too long).

No, 3 rounds is better. Doesn't get stale that way. By its very nature it's going to turn into a campier mode than it is at the moment, people are just getting to grips with it again.

It doesn't really give you enough experience. That's the only issue I'm having. Shorter matches keep the game flowing and the medals ticking up. It's better that way IMO.

Yeah, that's a serious problem on Raven Down. Leader has nowhere to go.

I love the comments, good and not so good lol, but I wish for this to happen, I've been playing guardian non stop these past two days, haven't played one game of anything else, just guardian and now I'm back and still standing strong for a round increase. None of my matches last more than 5 minutes, I got 16-7 and guess how much xp I got? 3000-3500, don't remember exactly but this is low for the kills I got.

Some guys here are saying execution/warzone have a time limit but why shouldn't this? Lol by having unlimited time it don't work, rounds end in under two minutes and that's if it was lengthy, some rounds end under a minute.

This will benefit the great mode, love guardian and this DLC, but no ivory skin (pain in the ****ing ass).
I only wish for the good old 30 minute games but I know we won't get it, a fifteen minute game of guardian will still be great.
