3D Gnasher (WIP)

I've been practicing modeling inorganic objects and figured I would give the gnasher a try.

I'm still not finalized so if you guys have any critiques let me know.

Looks great, like that you've modeled it in high poly, cause I'm so used to seeing the game version, that it's nice to see a fully modeled version for a change. Can you post a side view?

Blender: it's an open source 3D modeling, sculpting, and animation software package

Hey do you know of any good tutorials, want to get better at 3DS Max for starting game development

I don't have any experience with 3DS max but I know CG cookie has been a great resource for learning blender. I know one of their branches focuses completely on 3ds max:

What's nice is they have another branch for unity http://cgcookie.com/unity/, which is centered around game development. I'm fairly certain you can use both resources to help in the process.

Nice! I've been using UDK for a while which is my favourite game developing software, but these tutorials will help massive amounts with the charact, weapons modeling etc

The modeling maybe four hours. The materials/texturing took some time because I'm not very familiar with Blender's new rendering engine. That took probably another three to four hours.

oh. cool! I am looking into using blender or unity to make some coll stuff of my own
