Well, formally they don't refuse, they collect bug reports, promise that they'll work it out, give some feedback and still make some updates. I do agree that it's very slow, and not everything fixed. Yes, they don't tell us why they didn't fix this or that remaining bug. But I don't think they treat us stupid. What I see - are typical problems of a young creative team. And I'm sure they are trying hard.
And amount of money counts

The old marketing principle "customer is always right" has long been updated: "but within a bill payed".

What makes it live? It's AppStore system, which allowed a dramatic price drop for customer and income increase for developer. At least they don't speak like H.Ford in the situation like this: "you can choose the car of any color, if this color is black" (c)
It may end quickly if there will be any competition. And we saw some attempts, but no one came even close to the chair quality mark.
