Infinity Blade II updated for the new iPad

To coincide with tomorrow's launch, ChAIR has released an update for Infinity Blade II specifically for the new iPad.

Additionally, ChAIR will release a major game play update for Infinity Blade II next month. In addition to new enemies, weapons, and items, the free update further expands the game with an innovative new feature entitled ClashMob, in which players from around the globe will work together to complete objectives and earn rewards.

Tried updating, uninstalling and re-installing several times but graphics just got upscaled.

Is is just me or is there something wrong with my new iPad?

I was just wondering when it will include high resolution textures? They really don't seem to be included in the update, just a resolution fix at present. Or is the iPad 3 not capable of handling it?

I'm running infinity blade ii on the new iPad. Everything looks great graphics wise, but I can't seem to make the healing spell register. It always comes across as a shock spell. This never used to happen until this update.

Please fix!

Is this when you use the Thorne ring?
It has always happened to do that for me for some reason. It really screwed things over when I was in need of a heal and it gives me shock instead. To solve this, I had to draw a miniature heal near the very top. It always worked for me when I did that.

Just got mine yesterday and it runs great. As others said right now even with the update it doesn't look like it's truly fitted for the retina display, aside from the textures still being the same resolution the graphics themselves as a whole do not look as sharp and crisp as they would if it was native for the screen. It's also noticeable on the 2d assets in the game such as the character menu with text and the equipment icons/images. Still this is much better than the simple stretching used on apps that haven't been updated for the new iPad so it's still great. I really hope they work on a texture update as well as a further update to better suit the graphics for the new display, the only thing my iPhone 4 has over it right now is that crisp look and depth.

Thanks for that update, exciting to hear that even more improvements are the on the way next month along with the long awaited Clash Mobs. I love fighting the larger titans in IB2 so I can't wait to see what the clash mobs ones are gonna be like.

So glad to hear an update is in the works for the graphics on the new iPad. Edges don't look so good on the new iPad.

If I had to describe it compared to my son's iPad 2... On his device, it looks like the edges are nice and anti-aliased. On my new iPad it looks like the edges aren't anti-aliased and many of those edges look like there's some sort of mask that uses the old resolution so the non anti-aliased edges look extra blocky. Hard to explain... I could just be hyper-critical...

I just upgraded from an iPad 1 to the IPad 3; I backed up the old iPad to iTunes, then did a "restore" to the new one. Infinity Blade II copied over, but my saved data didn't all come over. I have my original character, but three other character slots that I had created and leveled up did not copy over to the new iPad. How can I get these character/saved games to copy over?
