Hey everyone I just thought I would post about what my friend and I had done yesterday. I was playing private matches against a bot in order to unlock my classic Marcus, and yes I was actually playing. As I was doing this my friend was bored of playing ranked matches and he asked me if I wanted to 1v1 him since we never did before. I told him yea no problem as long as I keep some settings in order to make the matches as quick as possible. I had set it up for warzone, 1 minute round, and all sniper pickups. I also told him that we will play 40 matches and whoever won the most out of the 40 is the winner, I said this because I needed 40 more matches to complete to unlock Classic Marcus. We laughed about it knowing that we probably wouldn't play that long, but behold we actually played 40 matches. To his surprise I beat him 24 to 16 I joked about it with him but he was a good sport. The main point of this thread is to say that I didn't expect having 40 1v1's in private versus could be as fun as it was.

I've just finished 1v1's with my friend. First we did all snipers, then all Gnashers on his host. Needless to say I destroyed him, blindfire superman FTW

Why would you do that, though? He isnt too hard to unlock. I have 2K matches played (havent boosted a single one) and I thought I only played moderately.

People complain to use the search bar, and when people actually do they complain about bumping an old thread.

Every once in a while we have more than 5 people that want to play together so we fire up a private KOTH match and go to town on each other. Its amazing a TON of fun becuase we're all in the same party despite the fact that half of us are on the opposing team. There's always laughing and enjoyment even when you die, we never feel bad because we know that a friend killed me. Originally Posted by DeRobertC

The major drawback is that we're really not getting any experience. In fact if the experience didn't matter and we were done with medals I'd bet we'd play privates all the time.I know there are people better than I am at GOW. I can recognize that I make mistakes. I believe that the people who beat me did so in a fair manner.
