Do You Play Beast?

Simple question. I adore Beast; it makes me feel powerful like I take on the whole enemy team by myself! The weight that goes behind every Boomer shot, the joy of ripping through fortifications like paper mache as a Berserker, to heal my friends as a Kantus just brings joy to my heart. I am Dragonzzilla and I'm a Beast Fan.

I PLAYED it, but I think it has become bland. I was kind of mad that in RAAM's Shadow, the Theron Elite and Mauler Elite weren't added. If they added some spice to it, I'd love it for more and more moons

Horde > Beast > Versus > Campaign. Its my opinion, so I guess I am agreeing with you.

I played it when I was like level 20 and it leveled me up REALLY FAST. But I don't play it that much anymore. I am kinda trying to do best on insane without failing to get Savvy Theron.

I play it from time to time, got all the related medals too besides ready for the heavies. Makes it funner than being forced to play a certain way going for medals.

After I get the medals and savage theron I don't think I'd every play it again. But until I have time to do an insane beast run I will continue playing it.

I like Beast, but I have all the medals for it at Onyx now so I won't be playing it as much.

I still adore it, but its become too difficult to get a game going. Nothing like running around mashing the X button and laughing maniacally as a Boomer.

I love the boomers laugh and things the locust say. I enjoy playing every now and then. Onyxed everything a couple times.

I almost exclusively play Gears of War for Beast Mode, save for Horde matches and the occasional Versus/Arcade Campaign matches. Whether I'm bombarding COG turrets and silverbacks as a Boomer or slithering behind a rampaging Berserker to fry any enemies that are still alive as a Serapede; it's always a fun experience that seldom gets old. If Epic is going to release a Beast Mode DLC, I can't wait to see what it has in store for those empty slots in the roster, I'm personally hoping for the Grinder, Flame Grenadier, and Theron Guard as new locust along with more basic humans and heroes to kill if more waves are out of the question.

I actually played it a lot at one point not too long ago, I like the Beast medal Titles like Wrecking Ball and such. Not playing it much recently.

It's an awesome mode, but it's the only mode that hasn't seen any additional content, apart from the content spread across all modes. It needs something to keep it fresh. Like Beast-specific events, adding mutators and whatnot.

I play Beast most days for a couple of hours. Absolutely love it. The way the cogs bodies just fall apart when smashed to bits by maulers is a joy to behold and when you get a proper team together and you clear most waves in 30 secs or less it's a real rush. I find it hard to understand why people stop playing modes once they have the medals. If something is fun to play then what do medals matter ? I've onyx'd the Beast medals into double figures but still play. Bloomin stamp collectors. Beast>Arcade>Horde>Versus

I like Beast mode, but it gets kinda boring after a while when you're playing it solo =/ Most of my friends are playing mass effect 3 or just don't want to play it period. L>Beast buddies

It's okay. It's not my favourite but it's still kinda fun. Although, once I get all of the Onyx Medals for Beast I probably won't play it again unless they add more stuff to it.

I used to, but to be honest I haven't played since I finished off the last Onyx medal for Beast. I'm much more into Horde and I'm trying to get better at Versus.

I play beast mode most days old son, got a lot of people on my F/L that have been going for the #1 slots on the leaderboards
.What other game mode can you get a #1 in the world in less than 10 minutes?
Beast is addictive but does need a boost, we've had boosts to horde, campaign and verses but nothing for Beast.
I would have thought that Epic would have something tucked away somewhere already for their new baby, maybe next time eh?

@Rattlecat: we'll have to sort out a game old son, I reckon we'd cream some of the times.

It is a decent game mode but becomes repetitive quickly. I have always wished that they would make the countdown timer optional so you wouldn't have to rush all the time just to finish the wave.

I play beast for 2 reasons....

- Achievements
- Onyx medals

Don't play it for anything else, it's kinda stale IMO, for the horde!

Once I have ready for the heavies onyxed it will be a lot more fun. I played it a lot and have moved onto horde. Only played it recently to make up the numbers on the @Beastlyweekly Stream for GCON

Beast is awesome dude I agree. Hope we get some Beastly DLC in future.

I used to play it back in October, November and December. I played it so much I onyxed Ruthless 12 times and I've played 2,100 waves.

Since I've onyxed out every Beast medal at least twice, I've gotten extremely bored of it. I haven't touched it since Fenix Rising released.

I love Beast. Just really wish more people played it or had a separate DLC map playlist. Haven't played a single game on the "Fenix Rising" maps.

Also, I was really hoping there would be new Beast classes playable in DLC4, but it looks like that's not happening.
