Hi everybody,
I'm working on the HUD for a game on iOS. My textures are looking good on pc (although not as good as in Flash), but on iPhone there are certain artifacts around the edges of the more complex shaped images (a black bird with the wings spread open). Around the wings there are some sort of blurred ugly pixels. Also, there are some other artifacts inside the textures (mostly compression artifacts). Some other stuff (buttons) are using simple shaped images (circles, rectangles) and they look ok (not perfect but the artifacts there aren't noticeable).
I have tried every possible compression on the textures, changed the group from UI to others, checked the LODbias (to 0, to -1...) and I pretty much tried every single option but the textures are still looking bad. Do you guys think this problem is because of a very detailed texture and I should use some simpler images? Or am I missing something?
Btw, all images are png.
Thanks!
