Default Two person at the same console with one guest user.

    Hi

I have an xbox360 with one and only one gamertag that it join at xbox live with 48hours code(For now) and i want to play a game like gears of war 3 as a guest from the second joystick but when i try to log in as guest from the second joystick it come to local and NOT xbox live the gears of war 3.

Is that normal or it do that because i am with 48hour xbox live code and not with a normal 1 or 3 or 12 month xbox live code card?

And i tell that because before 5 months i have a normal 12 month xbox live card code i can joined with a basic gamertag from the joystick1 and with gamertag(1) guest from the joystick2 and i can play with other players from the same console with one and only gamertag with xbox live.

    A lot of thanks

I don't quite understand what you're trying to do, you want to play as Guest without using the 48 hour card?

No i was trying to play with two joysticks(One for my basic gamertag and the other with the guest gamertag) at the same console with 48hour xbox live code but when i log in as guest gamertag from the second controller then the game comes to local and not to xbox live mode so what i must do to play with two controllers the vesus mode or horde mode or any mode.

I'm not sure as to what's happening here, but I think the Guest account is signing you out of live. What you do is sign out of both profiles, make sure the account with the 48 hour is first player. Sign in like you normally would on your first profile, and make sure to connect to live. Once you're in the gears menu, press Y on your second controller and click Guest, it's a tricky process. Once both accounts are signed in and you can see in the gow menu I think it's the Select button to click that let's you choose to play locally or something else, just try that. I'm not sure if this will work but it did for my personal experience.

Exactly that procedure i do from the beginning and the only thing happened is to the game become local and NOT xbox live so...

Is there any chance to this happenning because i am at xbox live with 48hours code and not with 1 or 3 or 12 month xbox live card code?

If you have been playing on Xbox Live Silver, or "free" (48 hour code) then it won't allow you to use guests or other secondary players on the same console. So, it will just be you dude.

(It happened to me before, this is the only thing I can think of.)

EDIT: If it was Gold, 3 month or 12 month it will, but not with the 48 hour code.

Ok so it was because i am on xbox live with 48hour xbox live code and NOT with 1 or 3 or 12 month xbox live code correct?
    Are you sure about that?

So if i buy one 1 month xbox live card code i can play with two players(One for basic gamertag and one as guest) correct?

    A lot of thanks dude.
