Question Recent problem [ started yesterday ] Gears 3 o_O

So yesterday when I turn on gears.. I'm rubber banding every where. Like. The weirdest kind of lag ever. It seems like everything and everyone around me is consistent. My character however, is not. I jump around. skip from 1 spot to another and what not. It definitely is showing other people this too because people have missed shots on me for these reasons.

My download speed is 25mbs and my up currently is showing as 2.6ish mbs. I'm pretty sure my Up speed should be way faster. When this first started my up speed was showing as 0.6mbs.. It's gotten better since yesterday number wise but I'm still having the same issues with the in game play.

Anyone else experiencing this or is it on my mind still some how? I have Xfinity Comcast.

Could be your connection, could be Gears' servers being retarded. Or both.

Yeah, My download speed is pretty amazing but I'm not quite sure what my up should be. I called Comcast today and was told I should be getting between 4 - 6mbs for upload speed. I'm only getting 2.6ish right now..

Not sure around what speed this game runs well on but before yesterday I've never had this problem before.

Unplug your modem and/or router for a couple of minutes then plug it back in. That exact same thing happens to me only when I need to reset my stuff. It's never done that and not been fixed by resetting everything at least in my case.

Yeah after I reset everything is when my upload speed went from .6ish to 2.6ish haha..

Comcast is gonna send me a new modem for free that is suppose to be better than the one I currently have but not being able to play online is a major bummer, considering I have a competitive team =/

It's comcast. I had this problem yesterday so and I have comcast. Not just gears online but everything ( besides my phone) that is connected to the internet is running slow. :/

So glad I have Fios. I never lag. Only time I've ever really lagged was from connecting to a bad host. Plus I'm in a complex. So to get cable here, I'd end up sharing the bandwith with the other buildings. They installed this huge box in my closet, and the tech got me an ethernet cable so my 360 is wired to the router and the wireless router handled my laptop. No lag here!

Most lag I've suffered was from connecting to a bad host where it couldn't be helped. The characters were so jumpy and I ended up hiding for the whole match. I was cautious of everything. However, I've played on hosts where everything was perfectly fine also. The only real inconvenience was the migration when people would quit which kept happening from match to match until we had a host who was in for a long run of Gears 3.
