I have to say I disagree.

Wretches are lower tier locust. They would be treated far better if they where young Kantus. Kantus are too high up to let their young run around killing things without protection.

That's what I'm thinking. Think about a Caterpiller. They start out COMPLETELY different then what they end up as, a Butterfly. It is a completely possible theory, maybe the Wretches are to become Kantus, but they must prove themselves?

we you also have to kinda think about the locust society in general. more than likely a completely seperate society of many different sub-species are going to interact differently.

I dont think Drones, Boomers and Berserkers are related to the Katus and Wretches!

While a nice attempt, It makes no sense given how many wretches there are and their tendency to travel in huge packs, vs how few kantus there are. Why on earth would a priest like figure highly regarded among locust be used as cannon fodder and sent out as unarmed infants in the early stages of its life, to basically die.

They are described as degenerate locust. Meaning weak, small, inferior. Which is what they are . In the words of Tao - "no"

Drones are Boomers! Boomers are just larger and less intelligent because of the way they are raised/trained. Hell look at RAAM there was no way he was an "infant" and he was a drone who got promoted again and again. So using RAAM shows that drones are not baby boomers (although boomers are just bigger fatter drones)
