I was playing last night and saw someone with the red and black skull Gears icon for their medal (visible next to their name when you are killed by him, etc.). After the games, the guy sent a message to all my buddies advertising "free re-ups and glitching" so I assume it was a glitched account or something.
I've never seen this before, has anyone encountered this strange icon/medal?

Yep, EPIC employees should only have that badge and if that guy was sending messages about modding your account, if you have his gamertag, you can report him to either Flak or Cher.

Epic has ways to detect modders like this to ban their accounts from gears.
However, if he was advertising on glitching other people's accounts, then he will get a permanent ban from XBL altogether. Please send the name to joeGraf and Flak.That was Zen, This is TAO

You wouldn't believe the number of messages I get after public quick match games taunting me and such. The funniest one was probably a rapping taunt based on that Informer song by Snow....

The medal you were on about is the "I Made This!" medal, which is obviously for EPIC devs who actually made GOW3...

That logo is for Epic Employees but people who gamesave hack can also unlock it. It's best to note the gamertag and report it to Epic so they can confirm it's legit or ban them if it's illegal.

Should save EPIC the time honestly....
