New EXCLUSIVE unlocks wanted

I am SO glad I spent money on eBay and bought all the "exclusive" character codes. (This is something called sarcasm that just came out) I honestly cannot believe Epic would re-release these characters by changing the color on them, and put them out in DLC's, that again, we pay for. Epic released them because a handful of people said it was not fair because they never got them. If they wanted them, they could have done what I did and bought them! I hope to God they don't release the flaming Hammerburst to the public. I know this topic has been brought up several times, but it still annoys the people who initially had them. Epic, can you please find some sort of way to please the people who are h-core fans of this game? My idea is to release an awesome weapon and/or character skin to the people who unlock every achievement in Gears of War, Gears of War 2, AND Gears of War 3. With you on that the Cole Train which was supposed to be beta only and the Gold Retro should have only been unlocked at the beta if you didnt get them then thats tough but now the DLC allows you to unlock CT and Veteran Gear unlocks the retro at least i hope the flame camo for all the guns does stay exclusive

I can agree regarding the beta skins, given that you had to participate in the beta to get those, but nobody told you to buy the skins off of Ebay. That was your decision. It is your job, as the customer, to fulfill your due diligence and accept full responsibility for a purchase, given that it is your money at stake - the merchant's obligation to you is to provide a product, which that person did. Epic did not tell that person to sell you the code, nor did they tell you to buy it.

As the game show Jeopardy might put it.... "This means 'May the buyer beware' and is one of, if not the, oldest truths regarding buying/selling/trading items or services."

^^^^Pretty much this. Don't be mad at Epic because you made a poor decision to overpay for a multiplayer skin.

I'm not mad at all, I just personally think its unfair for them to re-release characters with slight color differenation.

i just get my xbox on november last year so i didn't played the beta or have a chance to pre-order the game , giving new players the chance to get cool skins that was only availilable 10 months ago is great.

I can deffinately see your points. However, my post is about a possible weapon/character skin for the Ultimate Gear Head. I think getting all the achievements in each Gear s of War game would be hard to get.

Well... in spring MK was released and some characters costume where only pre-order bonus. I was so mad i didn't tough about selling mine... i never expected that people would pay big prices for such stupid bonus... I mean a classic costume... thats basically a palette swap.... When GOW game out, i selled my adam fenix... couldn't sell Commando Dom as i got it later by phone(forgot to get my code in store) and i wasn't sure it would work, but anyway it was the one people where the least interest in... But im glad i sold my Adam 20 bucks... 20 bucks for just a character i would had never use.... LOL I just wish i would had pre order the game everywhere... the problem is those shop are dumb... they ask for 10$ or such, give you the code and thats it... they should give the code at full purchase, not when you pre-order...

Anyway... next big game, ill be sure to pre-order it everywhere...

but to get back on topic, part of me wanna say "in your face, haha" for having spend so much cash for silly skins... but another part of me is not satisfy with epic choice there... as i was hoping for really new skins, not the same stuff i (partially) have. I mean... to the people that got all of them, those are not even new characters.... and for those like me that have only Commando Dom since beginning, im like "mechanic baird... really" im probably never gonna use it anyway.... he look silly.

So far the first and second DLC where pretty good for characters... Onyx Guard is super cool, Bernie was a must... Horny Dizzy... not so much but well... And the second pack was the best... with Barrick and Valera being awesome, Kim a definite welcomed come back....

Pack 3 was.... BOF... even for a Clay Carmine fan like me.... and i think i never took my REGULAR Cole Train... so couldn't care less for the LE...

Anyway... i wish they would made DLC of characters only... something like 400 points for 4 characters.. this way people that want them would get them, people who don't give a rats wouldn't have to... just made them Download a booster pack so they can play with people that got them, but not use them.

theres some dude from the u.k. that sold the beta cole,and the individual flaming weapons codes that i thought were beta only...but of course he wont mention anything about how or where he got these codes!!!! there is actually a code on there right now for the flaming sawed off, but at one time i saw all of em on there!!!
