Community Poll: Custom Event Skins

The skins are created and stored temporarily. Epic would have to make everyone download the skins permanently for anyone to be able to keep them. Otherwise, anyone who hadn't unlocked the skin wouldn't be able to see yours. That also means the download would have to be available permanently for anyone who didn't boot up the game during the event. This feature is not feasible unless Epic makes all of the event skins ahead of time and adds them via TU. However, most of the events are crafted by Pete Nub the week leading up to it. It's a nice thought, but ultimately infeasible.

As for the poll, I like the bonus skins and getting to see them, but I won't ever use them again cuz I always forget to switch back to my normal skins.

I voted no. Let me explain. I choose to play every weekend regardless of the little perks. I mean, don't get me wrong, its nice, but it doesnt necessarily influence me.

Why is the rainbow skin an attachment, it's not an event skin

there is no point to event skins cause the events usually don't have start off weapons

The custom skins never encourage me to play the events. Although nice, with them not
being permanent unlock-able fixtures in the game, there is no point in even switching to
the custom skins. If they were to apply a way to permanently unlock them with the
playing of the events in any way they deem plausible, then I'm sure more people would
take time to really play and try to enjoy the playlists. If they don't allow us to unlock
and keep said skins.....then why even bother? Same applies to Thrashball Drone.
Don't tease us with stuff you have no intention of letting us keep. That's lame.

Well they don't necessarily encourage me to play the weekend events but it sure would be a nice bonus to have for playing them =]
