New Game+

I don't understand NewGame+ (IB2)
It starts me out with the bare-bones weakest items, and NO gold.
I can't even beat the Shade @ the beginning..
Am I not doing something right?
Please tell me what to do..
(Btw, I don't buy in-game gold w/real money)

That first shade fight is very difficult, and from a developer's point of view, a transparent and successful plan to collect IAPs. Even if you're level 81 it's a tough fight, but what's funny is that the first Shade in NG^1 arguably can be the hardest point of the entire spectrum of NG.

You should be at least level 60 before entering ng +. If you aren't, there are several threads explaining how to delete your current ng to level up more in the original game.

I'm at NG+7, level 220 or so, and I can barely survive Shade. Even if I do survive Shade, I have to win two more battles before I can pick up any additional health, unless I plan ahead so I can level up somewhere in those three fights.
