What Fortnite Could & Should Be based on one simple Epic Fact

Well, this game could be phenomenal, for the simple fact of what we know of Epic...and we need only know one thing of Epic when given the Concept of Fortnite...

Horde

That's it, right there, let's look at what we know of Fortnite:

-It's Co-operative
-You gather resources and build structures to Survive

Well, let's look at how damn fun Horde is right now...well, it's pretty damn awesome, and what do you do in said mode...(?)

-Work together with others to Survive against the Horde while collecting funds to build Fortifications

...Huh, they sound pretty similar...right...(?)

But there is a major difference, one that works in favour of Fortnite:

-Horde is only one Mode in Gears of War 3, it was not the sole focus and the entirety of Epic did not put every ounce of effort into it(They put a whole hell-load in though)

...and funnily enough, Epic intend to do just that with Fortnite, it's their new IP and they intend to make it as amazing as can be, so you've got to wonder how ridiculously phenomenal Fortnite, could, and should turn out, simply based on the fact Horde did so well simply as one mode, and not one game...

So here's to Fortnite, a game I can't wait to see...

Eh, I could say the same...I mean don't misinterpret, I sure as hell would love some more information right now, but I'm content with just mulling over all the possibilities, only to inevitably be disappointed when the majority of my ideas don't end up seeing the light of day in the game...

Same situation for Halo 4 really, but I won't bore this place with that stuff...

Also, I see it being pretty unlikely that Fortnite will end up as only an "Arcade Title", be it for XBLA or PSN, I can't see Epic releasing a Teaser and looking for a Publisher simply for a smaller project...so it's safe to say that this game will be a Full Retail Release with fully-fleshed out features...
