Gnasher has some crazy stuff going on with it for sure, I get 1 shot active downed by it all the time now from quite a ways away. I don't blame the Gnasher users for having it active all the time.
I think a good solution would be to only be able to active it when it is out of bullets before reload, (I mean not just be able to shoot off 1 round and reload for active) It would at least change things a little bit anyway, but I guess you could do that with all the weapons.

I rarely ever pre-active anything. I may active my Retro a couple of bullets usually, but thats it. I only get actives when reloading from a fight.

Starting weapons just shouldn't have the benefit of the active reload damage bonus, period.

Grammar, flames, and banter aside (all of which have nothing to do with the topic) I haven't noticed a large amount of pre-actives. The inconsistencies that I have noticed have been due to lack of a dedicated server however.
Please stop trying to nerf every single gun in the game. Soon we will end up with nothing but smokes, and they'll probably get nerfed too.
Oh, and please don't whine about your teammates.. if you are unprepared to comunicate.

I pre-active my lancer all the time; the weapon is useless without an active. I rarely pre-active my gnasher unless it's a 1v1 and I see my opponent doing so.

everyone preactives because of the inconsistency in the game, whether it be lag or sponging. then there are those games when you have connection like it was in the beta then you dont have to... who am i kidding i played a match yesterday with 3 second bullet lag. then the following was a connecting to colombians....
