Default Blender - importing/modifying PSA animations

How would I go about doing this? I can only import PSK and that's not good enough for the player model ambitions I want to do as UT2004 has insufficient proportions in the upper torso that causes my models to look weird.

I found a pipeline workaround but I don't really like it.

    1. Blender export your animation to Source SMD (requires Valve SMD Tools script)
    2. Import SMD into Milkshape (yuck!)
    3. Export PSA from Milkshape
    4. Hexedit the PSA, replacing "Name" with the animation sequence you want to replace
    5. Merge it in UnrealEd

Blender PSA export doesn't seem to work for me at the moment and PSA import seems impossible currently.

Hm, it does seem like nobody has written a PSA importer yet. Exporting should work fine, though. Did you read through this page?
