    Map - Capture the Flag (PC/PS3) CTF-RB-SkyBridge V1.0

    Music:"Going In" - by Solar Fields

    Large urban catch the flag map set on the roof of two skyscrapers, which are connected by two bridges. Map design inspired from the Unreal Tournament classic catch the flag map Facing Worlds, and the game Mirror's Edge.
    Map features all the weapons except for the bio rifle and avril. Powerup, berserk. One available for each team base.

    I have in plan to make a few more with this theme. Initially I wanted to wait until they were all finished and release them as a map pack, but I think I'll post each one separately when it's finished.

    i just gave it a go and wow, impressive map
    i like the "colored halo" effect around the sun
    the extreme Zaxe is top notch , and allow all sort of moove and flys...i was a bit surprised @ first by the damage u can take if u dont take care while going down from the towers but it add nice element to the gameplay as u cant jump rush to ur base
    i really love such enormous maps with true & large open areas , it s just paradise for long sniper and shock riffle shots
    the inside corridors are superb and i found this way easiest than the external one, u balanced it nicely with the possible collect of superhealth and shield belt outside
    i though i was going to be quickly bored by thoses car horns but it s more looking like hannibal army's trumpets and fit nicely to the athmo of the map, like a intense murmur coming from the bottom
    the jumpads are fun and risky to use and allow u to aim while landing like a pirate haha
    i had lot of fun on this one and it s a shame they are not enough players online to populate such a map and give it justice
    keep up the good work and again...good job!

    I have ta mention the glass! I wasted big amounts of ammo on the glass windows.
    Having them crack before shattering is a very nice touch!

    Extremely amazing with your creativity mate! That reminds me of the new age of Metropolis (never seen the 1927 movie title). Also, you took to inspire the video game title Mirror's Edge of course with the map design. Thanks for this map!

    edited: man i played this map and ... it is so funny and im amazed how did you manage the falling escaping system lolol it is very new for me and original mate... good work i love the mapping direction you gave wow

    Alright, I downloaded and played this map and I can tell you one thing! I l'ove' you, Remus!!! Because you make such beautiful looking maps and I love them all so very much!

    In this case, CTF-SkyBridge is a fabulous map! Not only by the fact it's design is very similar to one of my most favourite games, yet on the other side, it makes a massive load of fun to play this map. You know, when I played this map for the first time, I thought the flag would be in the centre of the building, but placing the flag on the roof of both buildings, well this makes the entire map game play more interesting and funny. Regarding this, capturing the flag and jumping from roof to roof, in order to get down makes more fun than only using the teleporter, that's what I tihnk. By this style to play, it gives you more the impression, that you not only play a map, which is based on the design of Mirror's Edge, also the game play. I mean, that's awesome!!! Despite that, the entire map design is so well made, that I'm in love with it!

    I'm a big fan of blowing sh!t up and I really like these destructable windows. Not only by the fact, that you can destroy them, also by the fact, that once you shoot them, they get damaged and later on, by shooting them one or two times more, they are finally completely destroyed. This is just sweet, in my opinion and I like that!!!

    About the design, well I love the graphics of Mirror's Edge and it is such a incredible pleasure having this kind of visual quality in UT3! I mean, that colorful environments and refreshing ambience, it is just like a dream and you kinda feel like coming home! The Unreal Universe is my home in point of PC Gaming and it will always be home, hehe!

    The only thing I was kinda confused about, was the ground or death zone of the map, because it looks very clean and 'without detail', but then I remembered, that in Mirror's Edge, these things are the same. By the way, most time of your playing you focus your view and eyes on the main point of this map and not the ground. Otherwise, you might see the edge from a different sight!

    Anyway, thank you very much for this magical and beautiful looking map! I really love this one and I can't wait for more maps, like this one and DM-NewEden, by you! Keep it up, mate! You rock!!!

    You really master the ME theme

    I really like what this level as to offer, the specials stuff like the animated flags, the breakable windows, the jumpads, all the custom meshes, materials, the lens flare & so on.

    I'm do not have a good aiming so I don't stay alive to long in this kind of map against hit scan weapon. I've played 20 mins & my score was 1 to 1 lol

    The fact the flags are on top of the building add a lot of gameplay twist.

    So in all, it's an awesome map

    I would had made some suggestions if there was a beta but now it's final so I won't bother.

    i love it ..its gunna be great times all the times i love that clean theme you just gotta do a vechile one based of this theme or just something HUGE..i can play invasion on this level right ??? i remember when i played unreal tournament 2004 ages ago there was this really cool 21st century level in a skyscraper and you could go on like EVERY floor i think.. i think it had zombies and a lift it might have been a hotel

    ...wait a sec theres some kinda bug where character models are almost invisable until you get very close to them but once they get like 3 foot away they turn invisable again ..ill keep testing..ok the map messed up my game that bug happened on every map after i downloaded it so it looks like ps3 guys cant download it cause the bug went after i deleted this map.. if it helps like character portraits were all like static so was health bar icon and when i shot sometimes the effect would be like a square.....and on the main menus and loading these weird blue like strips of code or something started appearing

    i play tested the PS3 cook for 45 mins before posting the link and found no issues with it .

    just had a look again and there is deffinatley no problem seeing other players and no curuption on the main menus ,

    i have no custom characters or mods installed , just custom maps

    i read a long time ago custom characters can cause problems in map so i never installed any

    i use custom characters and 3rd person all the time how cant you..the characters in this game are so lame like gears of wars rejects but this bug only happened with this map when i use custom characters so iguess if i really want it i have to get rid of my favourite precious boba fett

    Thumbs up fun CTF map!

    I love the Mirror's Edge theme (similar to NewEden) as a break from the gloom and doom of some UT3 maps. The crazy traffic, ambulance sounds and music track (if that is what I hear over the traffic) really add to the already brilliant atmosphere. I like the use of the jumppads, flag location, teleporters, weapon/item locations, and ease of jumping down; the bots aren't too bad either. Even though it's a Face-type map, I won't hold that against you.

    Sorry for being so late to the party, but I finally got a chance to play the map. Not being a CTF player, I played it in greed... which played ok. The bots never use the bottom of the sky bridge and if the skulls fall off the map, that's a bummer.

    Greed game play aside, I love the look and atmosphere of the map (as with the DM version). This one bumps it up a notch with more meshes to fit the theme.

    I especially liked the jump pads, flags,breakable glass, and the cool teleporter doors (which took me a while to notice).

    I look forward to your future maps...
