Epic Games[/URL] has an amazing art team, and many of them are members of the ZBrush Central forums where they occasionally post images of their work. ZBrush is a 3D modeling program and a favorite of the artists here. Epic is all about teamwork. Models get passed around and are tweaked and passed around again. The end results are the amazingly detailed characters and environments that you see in our games.

Back in October, Epic Games‘ Senior Character Artists Mike Kime and Chris Wells started an “art dump” thread on Zbrush Central, which has images of many of the Gears of War 3 characters as works in progress. Check out their work as well as concept art and environment art on the community site.

There are lots of great hi-res shots on ZBrush central for you guys to make wallpapers with.

Is there a high-res image anywhere (preferably from an Epic source, obviously) of the Embry Star from Gears 3? I'm looking at getting it as a tattoo but the one on screen is so small and muddled. I don't want details to be wrong.

That's a bit better than I was able to get. Yeah, if you can find a full-scale one, that'd be awesome. It seems like this would be something an Epic staffer could supply with ease.
