I made a thread yesterday, but was deleted before I could catch up on the replies.
Flamewar I been told. :/ Hope I don't upset anyone.
So I'm a Gears player since the first game, but I never made it into a nice team of friends, I don't even have any friends.
I never got the hang of the gnasher, I'm more of a mid to long distance behind cover shooter supporting the team, but that doesn't seem to work much in Gears 3 MP.
9 out of 10 a kill is achieved by use of the gnasher and I'm forced to practice or stay forever noob.
I watched the sensitive guide video, adjusted (although lowered by a few still).
I tried alternate controls to practice wallbouncing, but it drives me insane. I just cant get used to having two different buttons to do the slide in cover and roadie run.
The fact I always tend to end up with below average players against organized teams in party who are mostly also a lot higher ranked doesn't make it any easier to practice and improve.
So I wanna ask you guys a few tips.
-How do you succesfully wallbounce.
-Is it possible to do properly with standard controls?
-Do you touch the left trigger at all when using the gnasher? I heard some people tap it quickly in a two step motion with the right trigger, dont know why.
-Do you fire as many rounds as possible or do you wait more until you have a really good aim, even though it's so fast I can't imagine theres even half a second to waste time.
-What rifle do you prefer? Lancer is super weak but easy to maintain control for long distance suppressing fire.
Retro is powerful but recoil is so heavy long distance gets hard. Hammerburst I liked in gears2 but in gears3 it seems a bit.. i dont know. Different.
And what modes would you suggest for someone like me with a horrible kd ratio of 0.5. I had 0.8 in gears 2. :/
Quickplay or ranked?
Thats about it I guess. I hope nobody starts flaming here again. I am merely trying to figure out how to enjoy the MP a bit more because right now I'm growing frustrated by my own noobness as well as the stacked teams and often long waiting times to get in a game.
I'm in Belgium, Europe by the way. Don't use mic, I do hear what people say and can follow commands if they give any, which they never do, lol.

Somehow they are better than real players, but then they do fail miserably on tactics and movement.
