Your craziest moment in Horde

Kinda interested in which was everyone's wildest moment in Horde.

Mine was today at Escalation, doing the waves I was missing for the achievement. I was at wave 30 on Insane, mutators Super Reload, Regen and Must AR. Boss was a Brumak, even though I picked up a Scorcher from my failed wave against Berserkers, I thought "I'm ready this time, b***hes!", until I heard a very familiar roar, I thought "Oh F**K ME!! Why didn't I search for a Boomshot!!". Rushed to my HoD Command Centers to clear the road, lucky me some Grinders left a stash of Mulchers for me. After clearing the road and blasting the Brumak's rocket launcher and one of its turrets, it was just me, the darn thing, and my full ammo Scorcher and Lancer. Managed to destroy the last turret, but the darn thing just wouldn't die (I hate you Enemy Regen ¬¬). About 20 minutes went by, and I ran out f Lancer and Gorgon ammo, the Brumak was defenseless to the point it was depressing, and I had nothing but my Scorcher, I thought "Oh f*ck it, let's just try it". So I started cooking the Brumak until it was crunchy, and after 3 minutes of Active Reloading my Scorcher, finally dinner was ready and the Brumak died nice and crunchy, "YES!! Finally!!" After 2 more waves, finally the achievement was mine and could finally take a rest.

Did anyone had a situation this crazy before?

Last man out on a boss wave on Mercy, out of ammo with everything, go through the rest of the wave with nothing but a Boomshield and half a clip of pistol ammo(had to buy pistols, twice), including 3 Reavers, Bloodmounts, and punching an Armored Kantus to death. No easy mutators.

my team and I were playing insane horde, it was wave 30 or 40, don't remember but it was a boss wave (brumak) all 5 of us were down and got killed by the brumaks rockets. For some reason it didn't say the wave failed and we could buy back. When we respawned the enemies were just walking around looking for us or something like we weren't really there. We all decided to have fun with it, we all used our snub pistols to kill the remaining enemies. For some reason when we bought back it didn't register us. Best glitch ever. So much fun walking casually next to a boomer who's trying to find you XD

btw OP, who else you know can say they fried a freaking brumak with a scorcher? Haha, that's awesome. Surprised it didn't stomp on you when you got close though

Was getting chased by a group of grinders and other miscellaneous stuff and they were right on my tail..almost dead...so I pulled out a frag and omni dove around a corner ready to plant it and dive again but I had jumped into a swarm of formers. Well instead of planting my frag on the ground, I tagged one of them with it on accident and just dove for my life. The group chasing me ran into the formers when the frag went off and I got like 15 kills.

I planted two ink grenades at the bottom spawn on escalation and when the enemies started spawning i got 9 kills and over 4500 points

Lambent zerker jumped 2 stories from boltok to grenades to kill me and last man. Wave failed.

Or droping the scoreboard on Thrashball on a savage corpser and the dang thing getting stuck underneath it. Had to piss it off with a digger we found to get it out from underneath.

Craziest moment in this game?

It would be when they did classic Horde weekend .. wave 30 on Trenches, never seen so many locust in one area .. (uphill area.)

It was so frantic that the screen was choppy due to bodies piling up everywhere, it was soo much fun.

The one moment where I can say I truly enjoyed Horde on this game, other than that it's to kill time or I was going for Onyx medals ..

on Jacinto, in the grenade area on the left, top of the steps, Grinder fighting Lambent Drone, on top, regular Drones fighting Drudge, on the steps, Warden in middle NOT BEING SHOT, not being bothered with..........Runs away down into the grassy area, untouched, oh did I mention I was the only one alive. The rest of the group was like "your alive?!" I was like "uh don't ask, I should be dead!"

Completing a full game of insane horde with 3 hard mutators without it freezing... :P

Honestly most craziest moment was when a grinder spawned on top of a brumak on wave 10. We killed the brumak and the grinder was stuck in the air, and was walking about like 30 feet in the air

During the Classic Horde weekend, on Wave 30 my group got a Brumak as a boss.
Then it instantly started walking up the stairs (On Overpass) and needless to say, we shat ourselves.
Not having any sort of fortifications made it suck really hard lol.

Was epic when we finally took it down.

Some guy stole all my downed kills, i ran after him, blindfiring him with the boltok...when suddenly, i got a heradshot on a mauler across map on gridlock. truestory.

Gears 2 horde,only a few months in to the game,went to Underhill with a group of friends.Wave fifty we all came out of the garage,one Boomer up on the bridge by the mortar spawn....took the shot *boom* .......the "Original" Hail Mary.Thought THAT was the best but after the game ended and tallied up everything,popped about 4 achievements at once for the Snowblind map packs that game alone! That and the first time I went a 1-50 no fail insane horde.Moments like that make it all worthwhile.
