    Yes! This needs to happen! I'm a GoW3 player who never played the previous games till now. I just bought them and am trying to level. It is going to take a year+ unless I play hours a day. If there's no xp events I will be forced to boost and I really don't want to do that.

    Even more frustrating when the host quits every other match of Annex when I have already accumulated like 6,000 pts, and I get none of it!

    Question: Does getting achievements give you xp?

    Grind it with the force multiplier playlist down th enemy and execute button mash for xtra xp, just wish gears 2 will have xp event need those gold weapons
