Rank, unlockables and leaderboards reset.

Hey Epic and GoW community,

Basically, as the title says, my rank has been reset back to 1, all of my unlockables such as characters, skins, executions etc..., including the ones that came with past DLCs have been locked and my match history/leaderboards show that I haven't played a single multiplayer match yet.

Now, before anyone suggests that I'm at level 1 because I decided to "re-up", I don't think it's possible because I was only at level 93 before this whole ordeal.Also, this whol thing started after downloading the new DLC launched earlier today.

Anyways, hope that somebody can help out or at least give some explanations and I'm sorry in advance if someone else has already posted a similar thread since I'm way too pissed off to search the forums.

EDIT: I also want to point out that I've had the seasonal pass since the first DLC and that the only thing that hasn't been locked are the maps that came with all DLCs launched by Epic.

re-EDIT: I've noticed something pretty weird with my account.Even though my ribbons and medals have all been reset to 0, I still have the onyx medal for "team player" as my insignia, even though everything on the list of medals is blank.I also wanted to say that the characters that came with the DLCs are unlocked, so my mistake on that part.

re-re-EDIT: After much thought, I decided to start from scratch and play the game only to have stumbled into another problem; I'm having trouble playing online, which was never the case in the past.When the game finds a match and is loading, it brings me back to the lobby with the message "Your connection to the host has been lost."Afterwards, when I try searching for another game, it immediately gives me the message "To play online games, switch your party type to an XBox Live enabled mode."I check my settings and everything looks fine, but it keeps giving me the same message.The only way I'm able to get into a game is if I "dashboard" it a few times until it actually gets me into a game.The problem is, after a few seconds/minutes of online gaming, I "lose connection to the host" and the same problem persists.

I would like to note that I've never, ever had a problem joining an online game until today and yes, my XBox Live Gold account is still active and my internet is working perfectly, even when playing other games.Anyways, some help would b much appreciated.

ANOTHER EDIT: (Sorry for all these edits, just trying to give as much info as possible...) I just realized that my multiplayer progress seems intact when I click on my name at the "previous match" menu.Kills, deaths, matches played, etc... seem to be correct, but at the stats and awards menu, the number of versus matches I've been in only show the ones I played since this whole problem occurred.Also, I seem to be able to play in a match without any issues but if I leave the match and try to rejoin, the above problem persists, which forces me to "dashboard" it a few times so that the the online matches can work again.

You have encountered the rank reset glitch. Believe me, you are not the only one. Everything you have mentioned is typical of a rank reset. The "connection to host" problems that you mention are temporary problems to do with the servers. Everyone is experiencing this at the moment. You can read all about rank resets here, and you can make a backup of your data to prevent it happening again.

Yeah, I have already visited some threads concerning the reset glitch and tried a few of the "fixes" without any success.Also, I have already joined the Fallen Stars rank and I guess that's all I can do for now.

As for the "connection to host" issue, thank you for the information.I thought it had something to do with the reset glitch since it happened at the same time but I guess I was wrong.I guess all I can do is wait patiently for the Epic team to find a fix for it.
