Want to join a well established UK clan?

Hey guys.

We at Next Generation Gamers (NGG) are always looking for good new GOW players, and now is no different.

We are a Uk based adult clan (16+) with many members in our 20's and 30's, and we behave as such. We don't trash talk against other clans and we don't blame anyone other than ourselves (or our connections ;D) if we die.

We play in the Uk's largest Xbox live gaming league, and this season we are in three seperate leagues (an Alpha rules league, a 'mixed modes' league and an Execution league). On the nights we don't play matches we are usually playing ranked, QM or privates...so for anyone wanting to play a lot of Gears, this might be the clan for you!

NGG is well respected and has a very good reputation (mainly through its GOW1 team previously and its current COD team). However the GOW3 team is full of new players and we are still getting used to playing together...in other words, we are a 'work in progress'.
We have some very good players and some players not as good, but one thing we all have in common (and is a requirement to become a member of the clan) is we all get along and have fun playing together.

We currently have 11 players on our GOW roster, (many more covering all games in our clan). However, we are always wanting to improve as a team and good players with a good attitude would be welcome additions (although we are limiting this at present to 1 or 2 players...quality rather than quantity )

What we are ideally looking for in order of importance:-

*Good support players... Most of us currently prefer the CQC and at times in matches are seriously lacking a quality support player. Someone who knows how to support properly and get the cross on the opponent is one of our top requirements.

*A great Longshot user. If you're a keen GOW sniper, and have a lot of sucess..we want to hear from you!

*Power weapon specialist. Not something we are desperate for, but always good to have if someone is really good with them.

*Gnasher user. Least important of them all but there's always room for a top gnasher user.

What we can offer you:-

*Lots of competative league matches, scrims, and general GOW play.

*A great clan to be a part of. With our own website, forums and IM board.

*Have your say on everything the clan is involved in, the clan leader really does listen to everyone's opinion... we are all adults at the end of the day.

*A full Friends list!


What we expect from you:-

*Be active! We are an active clan, and expect the same from our members. Of course we realise everyone has 'real' lives outside of GOW. Many of our members have full time jobs, families, etc etc. But in order to become a great team we need to play together regularly, which I'd say is the most basic truth of any gaming clan.

*Be active on our forums. Not to the same degree as with Xbox live, but the odd post here and there... with our team fixtures/news all posted on site its important to check the site if you want to play matches.

*Understand that everyone currently in NGG has had to first become a 'trialist' which after a month the other members vote to decide if they should become part of the clan. This isn't based on skill but on personality, and how well we all get along... and also gives you some time to try us out too.

*Also understand that despite having some good players we aren't currently the best team out there. But with such a good clan base to work from you would hopefully be happy to help us get to the level we want to be.

We have had some people show interest then barely be online, and even expect to play clan matches despite hardly having spoken to us. This isn't how we work. However we have had several guys from these very forums join us recently and are currently having a great time getting involved!
We have families and a social life but love to play GOW in our spare time. If this sounds like something you would like to be a part of after reading everything and you could help better us as a team we'd love to hear from you.

I'll just add another thing guys. When we play we have a real laugh and there's plenty of banter, but since we are only looking for maybe one or two good players at the minute I have to do this a bit more 'by the book'. So its probably best if you first either reply on here or sign up to the clan forums and let us know a bit about you (its what I did when I joined). That way you can see what we are all about before we play togther... and it shows us you are keen too.

KD's and W/L QUICK in the order of the gametypes: 2,0 3.3; 1,9,1,9; 2.7, 2,0
I am willing to play whatever you guys want, want to learn more Execution, also wanna become a more ranked player.

One problem: I am currently in the USA till the 5th of June.

If you don't mind playing on a Uk party host it doesn't matter if you're from the Netherlands, but with you being in the US that will always put you at a huge disadvantage playing with us. So maybe you should wait until you go back home and then look at joining us...we'll still be here, lol.

Oh okay, my connection is always good if I am in a UK party so.
No I don't think it will work if I am in the USA now, I will give it a try in 5 months! ;D

Ok guys unfortunately i'm going to have to put a close on our recruitment drive for now. We have had many responses and have played with a few of those guys, and I want to thank everyone who messaged me... But unless your an amazing player with a fantastic attitude (i,e impossible to say no to) we are no longer looking for new players.

We do out of season mate, but we have three league matches a week at the minute so don't really need scrims now. If your still about at the end of our season (in about two months) i'll be in touch.

I have played since gears of war 2 i have always played ranked, i am quite an aggressive gnashed, player but i can also use a lancer, I'm not to bad with the
long but needs to be improved, I'm not a bad player over all, i have room for improvement though, i have played doubles on GB, but i did not like it so i stopped i really want to play GB with full team wat ever game type mainly execution or KOTH, I'm willing to learn new things, some times i can rage but not very often, i do not like to lose and i will do anything to win,
i hope you take this into consideration
