This is really cool. I wish I were part of a team and were actually really good at this game.
You should check out http://www.cybergamer.com.au/forums/xbox360/gow/ and possibly sign up and look for a team. We've got loads of free agents around and with a bit of practice could definitely get somewhere!
Thread needs a re-bump!
Support the AU community!
Alright, so far we've got a pretty solid number of teams including a few new faces which is great! Lets hope some people from here get involved!
Bit of a bump, bit of an info post.
We've now got 18 teams signed up, good to see a few new players on the list. I'd love it if we could break 24 teams so if you're still thinking about it please give it a go. Its going to be a really good comp!
Alright, final bump from me. Signups close this Sunday night at 11.59pm AEST so if you're still on the fence about it take the plunge and get involved in Australia's first major online Gears 3 tournament!
idk if this has been answered or anything, but is there a link to a livestream I can watch? I'm always down for watching some gears <3
It will be streamed at www.twitch.tv/aclpro.
Would be awesome to get Gears fans from all over to tune in and check out the AU community.
Hey guys,
If you're still thinking about getting into this now is the time to take action. Registrations close on Thursday 2am.
If you do sign up you'll need to do it twice. The first is to register, the 2nd is to confirm your attendance.
It will be great fun and there are some cool prizes to give away.

That is the registration link.
Thanks guys,
Midnite
40 teams signed up, amazing for a first tournament. I know European GoW used to be happy to get 25 teams in their first few tournaments, now they're getting 50+ consistently in each tourney. Hope to see the same type of growth in the AU community. Is there potential for that Midnite?
regardless, AWESOME stuff man! So psyched for this.

There is definitely huge potential to grow the community. This is the first major tournament we've had and having ACL pick it up for their 2012 circuit is a HUGE deal and I'm really hoping that we see an influx of teams getting involved after they see this tournament.
Good things to come for the AU Gears community.
Found out about this to late to compete (doubt I would be good enough anyway) but I will definately check out the live stream. I'm surprised (pleasantly) so many teams signed up. Really hope we can maintain the momentum down under!
Just wanted to give a huge shout out to everyone who was involved in this tournament, from players, to casters.. Everyone who made the weekend the way it was.
I hope that there were some people from here who got amongst, if not then I highly recommend checking out the rebroadcast here.
There will be more of these to come and I would love to see some new faces at the next one. So if you were on the fence for this take the plunge for the next one.
Thanks again to everyone who competed and spectated, it was an amazing event.
