    is it cause i played a couple of matches and didnt get the medal for it

    I can't WAIT to get home and play this! It'll actually make me want to play Gears MP again I'm sure. I've been in Horde for way too long.

    do you have to do a ranked match or can you quick matches to get this??

    I haven't been on today to see this, but I'm pretty sure it's an event. If so, you only need to play one match of Ranked or Quick Match to get the ribbon. You don't even need to play in the event playlist, so just play whatever you want.

    If you've already played and didn't get the ribbon to pop up, then either Epic messed up and the event isn't counting, or you did get it, but it just didn't tell you that you got it.

    Check your War Supporter progress and see if it's one point higher than it was last week.

    yeah its only temporary, but like the other game modes they come back with time.
