Please explain how showing the hands will help credit the player? I'm not against it I'm just trying to make sure I have sexy hands if someone has a hand fetish

What you did (filming your screen) eliminates the possibility of a wall hack, but not an aimbot. To confirm there's no aimbot you would need to film your right hand. Then when people watch the video they can watch your hand movement (mouse movement) and make sure it is in sync with your cross hair movement. An aimbot will move your cross hairs for you, so it would be obvious if you're not doing it yourself. Filming your left hand is less important, but probably still necessary.

There's no kind of video editing that can fool the viewer. If there is I doubt any of us have the kind of money to pay for it.

Of course if you film an aweful game it proves nothing. I haven't been filiming games lately b/c of my work load (mucho overtime) - can't play too well. Not to mention my right mouse button keeps sticking - need a new one.

You could code an aimbot to only `stick' to an object only if the state is right, e.g. you approach it at a certain speed, your crosshair is close enough, or whatever. I doubt you have the capabilities to do a one-to-one mapping of an arbitrary mouse with arbitrary settings to crosshair movement, even with optimal filming conditions. Of course no one is going to film with optimal conditions, but instead a low resolution, low framerate webcam or cellphone camera.

You know, this question seems similar to the response another player gave me. I like this player as a person. He's actually one of the few UT'ers I've ever gotten to know. I originally asked him to film himself just so I could motivate others to do it. He wasn't even on my "suspect list." At the start he said he wanted to build a better PC first. Then I seemed to talk him into it. When the time came when I was suppose to help him with the actual filming, he just starting asking me "why do you think I cheat?" I kept telling him that I didn't suspect him, but stragely his response stayed the same. It made no sense. Was he trying to guilt me into getting off his back about it? He never filmed and I haven't talked to him since. But, unfortunately, he is now on my list.

I neglected to remind everyone that I have an 8mp cell phone camera. It's pretty good for a phone. I think my videos look fairly clear in 1080p, therefore my right hand is also clearly seen. And therefore fine movements of my mouse can be seen. And that can not be argued with. Go ahead and watch this video (UT3 DM Sentinel) and tell me where I could possibly be using an aimbot. Where do my sights "stick" to the target in a way that does not correspond to my hand movement.

I don't think you hack, but that's not the point. The point is someone could not possibly conclusively, without any doubt, tell using this method, I don't even understand why you can think such a thing.

He snaps to the vehicle, shoots it for about a second, then snaps back to where he was shooting.
It's really unusual since the vehicle already had low health (why not finish the kill?), and he does it way too quickly.
I tried snapping that fast in Instant Action and always had an "in-between shot" for a total of 3 as opposed to 2 shots (point A to point B).

Some cheats can lock your opponent once you are close enough (meaning you move your mouse and it just sticks to your oppo when you are near him), thus you won't see it on a video as the guy would move his hand in the right direction.

As far as the hack that tells you when armor is up (sounds)...wow. So ghey. I'll deal with that down the road.

Currently I'm using Windows Live Movie Maker (sucks) Right now I am at a loss of experience. I shot a vid tonight in a very low bit rate. I understand it shouldn't come out in good quality. When I play the .MTS file with Splash Lite it plays in great quality! When I import it into WLMM it encodes it but the quality is lost. This intersection of it's quality with Splash Lite VS WLMM (encoded) confuses me. First I know it should be a lower quality because of the re-encoding. But if it plays in bad-a** great quality with Splash Lite, what is going on? Obviously I'd like to have it in great quality while retaining the low bit rate through my HD camcorder (Canon HFS100) to have smaller files to upload to YouTube.

Hmm I dunno. My camera records mpeg4 files. I convert those to avi files with Pazera Converter so that WLMM can use them. I can't tell that any video quality is lost.

Yes, but the movement done by the aimbot could be only a few pixel, you would do 90/99% of the movement with your hand and the aimbot would only take the relay for the last pixels in order you dont miss your opponent, this would be very hard to judge on a video as most of us can go through one side of the screen to the other within a few centimeters move on the mouse. Thus you would have to see a few milimeters move on the mouse with your video to detect the hack.

Some people dont use the mouse left and right click for firing, for example my right click makes me jump ^^

Yeah, i admit this wasnt the most important hack but it was just to show you a video isnt the optimal anti-hack tool

For a test run I did a conversion to 854x480 @ 29fps and actually the quality came out great so I'm going to use that setting to convert it to. I'm just deciding on what music to overlay it with. Or maybe some comedy. Family guy bits, Simpsons stuff... hmm

Good job, bro. It was an eye strain to watch your tiny fuzzy screen and mouse at the same time, but it looks pretty good. enoch approved! now you just have to convince DavVador that the "aimbot" doesn't help you out with those last 3 pixels lol. So do I. What megapixel camera you got?

In MXP mode it's at 24 Mbps, FXP = 17 Mbps, XP+ = 12 Mbps, SP = 7 Mbps, and the mode I shot it was LP @ 5 Mbps 1080 (60i frame rate) The file size still came out to 670mb for 17 minutes of recording. If it were in MXP mode it would of been 1Gb per 10 minutes roughly. I shot in Cine Mode, Automatic White Balance, with a Neutral image effect. The camcorder ran close to 1k back when i bought it, now I think they are ~ 6-700$ ??? not sure though. I know the conversion by WLMM changed the frame rate.. i think 29.. and I think it's also the culprit for the crap quality.. **haven't even thought about what YouTube did to the quality**

Next, even though I am on a large monitor/screen (27") i still play at 1152x864 It just feels best with all the mouse adjustments and screen resolutions I've tried. I'm at 875 dpi, 1000 ingame mouse sensitivity, and default windows desktop.

Yeah I should have wrote it as "tiny screen." I was referring to how far away your camera seemed to be. My camera is like a foot behind my right shoulder. You have an interesting camera angle...hawk eye.

I know. I didn't understand the angle you were making there so i had some fun. Rumble in the Bronx is a great movie. I don't get into kungfu movies in Bruce Lee's era although he is highly regarded as a great fighter. The latest retro movie on my list to see is Quest for Fire, 1981. When we were on tour staying in a great dude's house in Chicago, we threw that on late night around 3am and even after I was tired as heck after a gig, I couldn't help but take in a little nostalgia from this movie. It hit a few memory traces. So I am on the search to watch it again

Yeah. High winds blew some major trees down onto wires all through-out Greater C-Town. And I told this guy: "eh, how you doin!? taking your kids to school? Come here, I want to show you something." He came by. I says: "you see that hole going through that tree?. That's a huge top and there is not much holding that thing." Half the tree was already ripped down years before. You could see a hole about the size of a grapefruit through it. I was actually amazed back in Dec. that it was still up. So I says: "That tree is coming over. You probably have 4-6 months or the next big high wind storm and then you'll be cleaning it up off your back lawn here. It will stretch to about here. Maybe take out the fence ..." When we pulled up the sight. I looked but didn't see the backyard at first. When I looked I felt a validation to the point of laughing and excitement. The guy came to the front door and I had to ask him if he remembered me talking to him about the tree coming over. And he immediately remembered but I didn't want to rub it in his face.
