yep, lots of old ideas got recycled. chainsaw dueling was actually in gears 1 before it was removed, and then recycled again in gears 2

Really? Are you going to tell me that originally there was a Digger, Retro Lancer and Sawed-Off in Gears 1 too? I know the arm-rip (or face-punch) was in a very early build of G1. Mind = blown

I hate to do this, and especially hate to drag the thread on a tangent, but does anybody know where/has anybody found a fairly high quality of the side of an MKII Hammerburst? I've tried the wiki (which was great for the other starter weapons), but it's got an angled view, and I can't seem to find one anywhere, after about an hour looking.
