Onyx Medals :All Beast and Horde Onyxed except "Big Money" and also Insane Camoaign.Still have the skin,thanks for nothing,AND it was the medal my char had on when reset occured,Onyx with 'Major Malfunction" title,ALL stats say 0 waves 0, chapters 0 it virtually looks like I did not even start the game but still have Veteran Gear Medal and this one.
When did this happen: in the middle of wave 16 of public horde,game just froze,controler and all buttons unresponsive for at least fifteen minutes.
And might add,refuse to play this again until this is addressed.3 1/2 year serious player,look at horde stats from 2.......Oh forgot,thats broke too.

Cause: Signing in with a second controller, to test my repair on it (thumbstick wasn't working, fixed it thankfully with a few tools), after I signed out my second controller I went to the main menu and noticed all of these things popping up, like one or two characters, and weapon skins (from the beta). This was yesterday. Today some more popped up, mainly the gold skins and this one I'd never seen before called "Impossible" set for beating the campaign on insane. Funny thing is that shows, but not my Onyx medal. And my bummy k/d ratio is still there too. :/

*update: I played one chapter of arcade just now, and both Warmonger and Tour of Duty popped up. So I'm spared having to do that again.

I have been reset like 4 weeks ago when I had level 92, and had 51 onyx medals. Now I'm on 100 and have only 21 onyx medals

How & Where is Occurred: Only my Campaign progress was erased. All campaign medals and ribbons dissapeared. In my journal i had no campaign achievements even though i clearly have them. I am backed up on a 4GB stick but its only my campaign progress that was erased and felt like a delicate matter.

EPIC should have announced that this reset could have been a problem, so we all could have made a back up to start w/. What is the point of gaining 6,000 kills just to unlock a character, medal, or weapon skin if you are reset back to 0 kills. garbage. what a waste of time; to play so much and be reset back to nothing. so annoying makes you not want to play ever again. go outside and get some excercise and sunlight. 3 out of 4 Americans are overweight. I actually managed three full 50 wave games of horde yesterday and nobody froze at all the whole game, I dont know if they have changed anything?? in the last 24 hours??

15 new members since I was inducted on New Years Day .......................... and everyone that could do something about is avoiding the issue like the fickin plague.Just think,about 87% of the current players are not on the boards,can you imagine the amount in that group? seems not right at all, somehow people start to feel ripped off and if thats the case in 80-90% of the players right now then they can kiss customers goodbye. we are drowning in bull**** nonsense events that no one needs and real issues are just floating by...no statements, no fix, nothing... i havnt been reset yet but if it occurs...well then someone can buy a used copy of gears 3. we pay money for something not ready for sale yet... so it seems to me a bit... just sayin.

Although I may or may not agree with your comments this is not the place to vent your anger, all I want to do is collect info, mainly on how freezes occur and where in the games they occur, and hopefully the data may contribute if only in a minor way towards fixing this issue.

I know two of the game testers have been staying up after midnight on some days trying to pin point this issue. It is random event which makes it hard to resolve. I personally think its a packet loss issue. but only time will tell, and im sure they will do their best to resolve it. I have also heard they are working on on the update and this may also include a fix for the 'glitched' unlockables, making them once again unlockable.

EPIC reading though complaints whether they are just or not, doesn't make it easy for them to collect any useful info they need.

Epic are working on a fix, chill. You will never get your old stats back, you were unfortunate and affected by the bug. All is lost, they cannot replace everything specifically it's impossibly. Sorry, it just is impossible, people will start to scam the system saying they have more than what they have and they wouldn't have time or the ability to re-distribute savegame files to everyone. Sorry for your loss.

too late now but in the future ensure to leave the game properly to the dash board and shut the console down properly to reduce chances< always eject the disc when you get screen freeze.

On a side note: my team managed again to play a full 50 waves for the 4th time in a row now in 2/3 days without any one of us freezing, I don't know if EPIC have unknowingly to us made any changes, but none of us have froze at all for 2 or 3 days and we usally freeze all at least once each a night. I would also like to add the guys have all been restarting their xbox before every new game, I don't know if its just a coincidence or a contributory factor to no freeze but I have my fingers crossed.

Don't think so cos i was on a couple of days ago and froze as we were going back to the menus after we died intentionally on wave 40 due to a brumak being glitched and unkillable on trenches. Not been on xbox since so whether i have been reset or not is to be determined. I'll pop by and leave details if i have

My game crashed at the loading screen just before TU2 was released. I opened the disk tray before turning it off but it still freezes when I try to load it from that player data, which I've now moved. I've kept a copy of my corrupted player data on a USB though I realise any progress made since I moved that I would lose if that got restored . I lost about 13 Onyx medals (It's been so long now I've forgot) and my gold skins for day one unlock, Would love those back...


Edit: Not sure if it's worth mentioning but the time before it crashed I was playing Split-screen horde on Overpass on Insane. Also, I was wondering if this would affect me getting the onyx war supporter because I had played in 8 events before hand whereas now I only have four (due to losing everything), depends on how many more events they do I guess.

I'm sorry you guys are having this problem. Let me see if I can gather a little more information. It seems that at various times and locations your game is locking up and when you turn the game back on your rank and medals have been reset to 0?
