    lol , we could ask why are we still able to play as any of the locusts then. Because they are also extinct now.

    It's just part of the remade map, what would be the sense remaking it if there weren't gonna bring back the Kryll . it wouldn't be much of a remake

    No because within this game the locust were alive in gears 1 the kryll died. So of all the levels they chose the one that would destroy atmosphere shoulda made mosaleum instead
