Please Help

I am having a lot of trouble with UDK. About a month ago it was running fine, no problems at all. Lately I have not been able to create any type of of terrain without UDK freezing on me. I am also unable to use the material editor or even create a new empty material. The only thing I know that I have done different is to install a new driver for my video card.

Here are my computer specs (though I don't understand how they would work fine and suddenly cause problems a month later)

AMD Phenom II X6 1090T
16GB 1333 memory
EVGA Nvidia GTX 560
Asus M599X evo motherboard

This is really starting to cause me a lot of problems so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Malware perhaps? Could also be a faulty install, but then it likely wouldn't start in the first place.

You could try reinstalling your video drivers. First, remove the current drivers and anything else that was also updated (like the settings software). Then, you can do a fresh download and install of the new ones. This might help, since you said that you updated them. Sometimes video card manufacturers have little problems in the upgrading process.
