"4. Ausar decided to be reborn as a baby, and have his memory wiped, prior to ritual known as the "The Sacrifice" TEL was the administrator of this process and given orders to rebirth him as a baby every time he died. (Unknown why Ausar chose to do this) "

Possibly, his memory got wiped unwillingly, then was reborn as an adult, and realizing he can get horrible memories, chooses to wipe his mind each time to avoid it.

You sure? I was sure he said he was the first blood of the deathless, meaning someone came before him. Could that someone be Ausar / Siris?

Btw, IB is awesome universe. But many players see it just as slashing game where you fight in loop. And only fans will get into the story. It would help a lot to make some explanation in form of short movie or some rpg game making the story more obvious and connected. Maybe some kind of prequel that will bring new players to the universe and reveal secrets from past and the beginning itself. Classic rpg from the era of apocalypse and first deathless and the pure evil (Ausar?) would be epic

Good point, he does not actually say he is THE first deathless, just "first blood of the deathless"

Groove--can you elaborate further on what you think this means? What does he mean by "First blood" maybe first child of an immortal that killed that immortal for his immortality (any bloodline of a deathless can kill that deathless for his immortality)

Maybe he's Rambo/First Blood part 2 (you do fight him three times)

Is it because the deathless age and die, and are then reborn into a new body?

yeah good point,, I wonder if it was a mess up, or foreshadowing something big in the future (Raidrair planning his own death) or maybe the deathless have predetermined duals and his Devoted are aware of the date and that is when they expect him to be reborn? Kind of a stretch

I think it all was to keep the reader questioning if the Worker was a mortal or a deathless,

Kuuth being an idiot is probably the best explanation, He was working for GK when giving the information, so maybe he intentionally misled.

I think Ausar and radriar are brothers, you only get that sort of hate in a family.
Ausar was trapped in the VoT, although I'm not sure yet if he is the vile evil.
The WoS came to rescue ausar using the IB and was betrayed, becoming trapped in the vault himself and having the IB taken from him. (Even though the WoS invented the infinity blade this wouldnt make him a leader of deathless because, for example, inventors of nuclear weapons were not leaders). This is because the VoT has to have a deathless to release a deathless.
So Ausar heads to the plains of koroth to finish his goody two shoes brother once and for all.....

Agreed about the two being brothers, are at least very close at one time ( old college buddies?). I've mentioned before that since the worker has that ring on him he was probably either thrown into or quickly tricked into being trapped in the vault, with Aussr not having the chance to search him,, so Ausar doing the switcheroo makes sense.

Also there is some talk in Awakening about relatives of deathless and how it is rare, So this would be an very interesting plot twist

I'm of the opinion the WoS made the ring while trapped in the VoT. It seems more advanced than the IB in that it it can disrupt the QIP without being charged up by killing the bodies of the deathless.
I imagine the conversation before the switcheroo went a little like
Ausar, I'm here to save you.
Nah can't get out, this bloody QIP thing is a right pain.
No, no I've sorted it, this sword will disrupt it long enough for us to escape.
You can disrupt the QIP? How long does it last?
A very short while, but long enough for us to get out of here.
Cool, let's give it a go.
    It's working!
    SMACK!!
Bye bozo, be seeing ya. Thanks for the sword. Time to disrupt my bros QIP then.

I think the Radriar and the Worker might be related especially as they wear similar armour, although I agree that Ausar was probably very close with Raidriar at one time.

Raidrair mentions in awakening that his new armour is of the newest technology, so WoS could not have had the same armour for milennia. Raidrair then sets out to speak with the Worker becuase, prior to realizing Siris is Ausar, he thought that the Worker had somehow trained Siris as their fighting styles are the same.

I'm guessing Raidrair spoke with the trapped WoS, found out the truth,, they both hatched a plan to get Ausar trapped in the Vault and part of the deal was WoS getting that cool new armour that all the kids want!

Anyways, theres actually nothing to really indicate that Raidrair dislikes the Worker.

OK, so why doesn't Raidrair just jump down in the vault like Thane does and force Siris to do the exchange thing? Not really sure, but in Awakening Raidrair is terrified at the thought of dying and feels so uncomfortable after Siris is killed by Isa that he doesn't want to stick around to dispose of Siris's body. I'm thinking he's terrified of Siris killing him, so he would rather decieve him.

Why Raidrair would agree to turn the blade over is something I can't explain though.
