Default UDK NOVEMBER - Extracting all files failed with the exception:

    Hello everyone,
for me this is the first time I had problems installing UDK.
It's different from the questions that other members posted in the "Installation Problem Thread" and after trying to replicate whatthey did fix it, without any results, I decided to share my problem.

I'm using windows 7 enterprise service pack 1.

Today I decided to install the October version to see if something was wrong but everything went well, without problems.
I already had it installed but since the last update it's taking ages to open the editor.
So after that I tried to install the November version and this time I had something different written in the Installation Failed box.

Really hope you guys can tell me anything.
    Thank you

Hi guys, just wanted to give an update that the UDK minimum specs have indeed been updated to Windows XP SP3. We did upgrade to .NET 4 which is the reason for the minimum spec change. For those users that use Windows XP 64bit, since there is no actual SP3, you can make a shortcut of the UDKinstaller. Then right click, and select Properties. At the end of the .exe string add -progressonly. That will skip the installer having to look for SP3. So for example it should look like:

    C:\Users\XXXXX\Downloads\UDKInstall-2011-09-BETA.exe -progressonly

You will need to manually reboot after .NET4 finishes installing.
I tried this but the problems keeps getting in the way.
    Can this be fixed?

Does your downloaded installer match the MD5 checksum found on the UDK website? If not then your download is corrupt and must be redownloaded.

There are many free programs you can download online where you can calculate the MD5 checksum of files.
