    Season pass: 2400 MP
    ___________________

    Horde command pack: 800 MP
    RAAMs Shadow: 1200 MP
    ??????: at least 800 MP
    ??????: at least 800 MP

If you were to buy all four seperatly it would cost at least 3600 MP. Even disinclude the horde command pack it would cost more ( 2800 MP )
So if you want the DLCs the season pass is a good buy.

Definitely worth it. Hell, if there's another season pass I'd have to purchase AFTER the final DLC's for this one are released, I'll get that one too.

Yeah, don't listen to all those people saying "Well, gee, I R sure glad I dint buy thar season pass". It's a good buy. Even after after the first DLC(which wasn't really that great). RAAM's Shadow is an expensive one and for good reason. It's going to be awesome.

Yeah, I'm one of that players LOL

I'll just wait in the shadow until I'm sure I'll like the first 4 DLC (muahahahaha)

Not really, just waiting to have some extra money.

That's the best way to prove it's a good buy. You have to focus upon two words: at least. I assume that there will be even more DLC worth 1200 MS-Points in future. And yes you still get the Horde Command Pack DLC when you purchase it now.

Yes it is definatly worth it. I see alot of players complaining that the Season Pass is a waste of money, because they think that they got ripped off just because they released the Booster Map Pack for free... (Which adds the new Maps from Horde Command Pack to the Multiplayer, and access to them in Horde and Beast, but you can't get Achievements on them) But still, if you have the SP, you get all the DLC (Even if a DLC is released, and you purchase the SP afterwards, you'll get the first ones for free) at a 33% discount, the SP is 2400 MSP, so it would be 3600 to buy them seperatly. Besides, you will also get the Liquid Metal Skin (Not a fan of it though) and the only way to get that particular Skin is to buy the SP.

Horde Command Pack is a nice expansion, easy Achievements and quite some new Gameplay put into Horde. I guess they wanted to keep the Horde Playlist alive, as nowadays no-one plays it. It'll also give you 2 Skins (Team Plasma and Jungle Camo) and 3 new Characters (Big Rig Dizzy, Onyx Guard, Bernie Mataki).

RAAM's Shadow will be a complete Single Player related DLC, and you can play as the legendary General RAAM. Who wiels his famous Kryll Shield which he also uses to blast enemies to pieces. In the DLC you will also take control of Barrick while defending Ilima City of Emergence Day. The DLC will give you 6 new Characters (General RAAM, Theron Guard Elite, Alicia Valeria, Barrick, Tai Kaliso, Kim Minh) and 1 new Skin, Chocolate. (Yumm!)

The upcoming DLC's should be primarily focussed on Beast and Multiplayer (I suppose, as Campaign and Horde are already out of the way) and I am already anxious to know what they will include!

Overall, the Season Pass is a really good deal.

Not worth it, if you only want MP maps like me.
    First five maps are free.
Rams shadow has no MP maps.
Whats the point? I just wrote a detailed post about this which was deleted straight away. Apparantly we're not allowed to express a calm opinion about the season pass from a MP players point of view, where are the maps. Gears 2 content was much better, with 4 sets of MP maps. And a flashback one free. So far we've had one MP map pack imo, and rams shadow is just single player cr*p. So when are theyr gunna be new maps? long wait away...

Seriously, can you read? It CLEARLY, CLEARLY reads in the description that it's DLC's for HORDE, CAMPAIGN, BEAST and mp. How on earth did you translate this into 'Golly gee, get this here old season pass for all the MP maps y'all are ever going to get!'??? Seriously, HOW???? It's. RIGHT. THERE. in. the. description!

It boils down to this, if you like Horde, Campaign and Multiplayer (Beast, too, I guess) then buy the Season Pass. If you like extra characters, probably worth it. But if you're really just a die hard MP or Horde person, I'd probably not buy it and wait for the individual DLCs that apply to your interests. The people complaining or calling it a rip off, are misunderstanding what Epic is doing. They're bolstering every aspect of Gears, this was not a Multiplayer or Horde Season Pass, but an all-encompassing Gears of War 3 Season Pass. And I'm guessing there will be another Season Pass down the line, as it does say "season". It's not a scam, it's like buying an expansion pack in advance and at a discount. I enjoy my liquid metal hammerburst, and extra characters, and I can't wait for RAAM and I'm always a sucker for extra characters.

All 4 packs are gonna cost 3600 msp. It's 33% off the normal price for 2400 msp.

I didnt translate it into that. I'm making the point that at the time of the season pass releasing, there wasn't detailed information saying the first 2 (out of 4) are Horde/ Ramm campaign missions.
I was expecting at least 3 out of 4 to contain extra multiplayer maps, due to the fact we only started the game with 10 maps. The 5 free should have just been in with the game on release, it didn't even match gears 2. Maybe you get my drift? i didn't mean to be rude, I was developing a point made on deleted threads.

Thats a good point so why does the campaign dlc have versus achievements? Does this mean that the versus dlc will have campaign cheevos?

Probably not. The achievements in the Horde pack were either Horde achievements or have to do with the new characters. I'm assuming in RAAM's DLC this will be the same, like I saw something that you had to kill Mihn with RAAM x nr of times for an achievement. Adding Campaign achievements would make little sense as most people have already finished it.

But when you BOUGHT the thing, the description was right there... Nothing to be misread. I saw the post you made that was deleted, it referred to ANOTHER post that was also deleted, and repeated it. Of course it was deleted a second time.

Not worth it from the multiplayer perspective. The maps will come out for free since they need to be added to the servers. Any cool characters can be purchased seperately, like RAAM and that theron elite. **** weapon skins.

It sucks that your expectations were wrong. Though nowhere has it been said that the only way to get the maps would be through the season pass or all the dlcs. Though nowhere has it also been said that there would be free maps available (some people wouldn't mind only being able to use the maps in matchmaking) before people bought the season pass.

I bought the season pass and am happy I did. I plan on using every single dlc that is involved in it. I guess it boils down to MP die-hards mistaking what it was about.

Yes, map packs have been done in the past, so it might be safe to assume this to be the case now. The reality is though, that Epic has not chosen to make that the way. Should they have laid out their plans for dlc and maps earlier? Most definitely.

The MP DLC will most likely be a map pack though. The 5 maps from the Horde Command pack were already on the disc. I don't think there are more maps on it, so any future maps WILL be DLC. And they won't be free, is my guess.

I agree. I was just pointing out where some people probably had it wrong. Of course the MP dlc will be maps.
