3 MB update = me banned????

allright yesterday i played gears of war 3 as usual then i decided to play a bit on call of duty... when i decided to play again gears of war i noticed i got disconnected and a 3 MB update appeared, i downloaded it of course and when i logged back i noticed the party was set on "local" i realised after a bit that that meant i was banned...... any explaination???????
thanks in advice (turned xbox off, reloaded router etc, still can t play online)

Go into Xbox setting highlight storage, press (Y) and clear cache, then re download Title #2 Update. See if that helps cause there was no title update yesterday.. They do not ban through title updates at least I think...

thanks for the reply, i ve sent a message to flak and to the other administrator, hopefully i ll get my profile unlocked because.... i dont like the idea to start back from level 1 in gears of war 3 and on call of duty aswell.....

haven t tried yet because the my sister is using my tv , anyway do i lose anything clearing the cache?

No it will just remove Title updates then just put in Gears disc and re download Title Update # 2. Make sure to re download title update and don't play offline until re downloaded title update, any game that you have played in the past that has title updates you will need to re download.. But you will not lose anything I do it all the time.

might be a content issue delete all your downloadable and try again i had a problem with playing online till i did that and redownloaded it all now every thing works fine for me
