There is awesome still in this game.

Yesterday was a perfect experience for me. I played for about an hour and a half, CTL quick match. I got into the game, everybody was kind of the same skill with one or two standing out. All 'lone wolves' as nobody was paired with anybody else EVERY match. Some people were rocking Gnasher, some DBS. Some were Lancering, some Retro'ing, some HB'ing... NOBODY COMPLAINED. We all just played to our best ability, tried to keep the teamwork going, it was total win. One game this dude became my nemesis, the next game I was his, the game after that we were on the same team covering each others asses and reviving. NOBODY COMPLAINED. I got sniper one round, then 2 rounds later I got it again but gave it to a teammate who ran with me. Few games later, sure enough, he got the Boomshot, and second time he picked it up he gave it to me. NOBODY COMPLAINED about people taking 'their' powerweapons, stealing 'their' kills (Because probably nobody was doing it on purpose). There was NO smacktalk WHATSOEVER during this session. Nobody was melee'ing anybody else on their own team, as you sometimes see. A few people left throughout the session, but the feeling stayed with each and every newcomer. Nobody ruined anything for anybody else. I repeat: It was perfect.

I love it when this happens. On the One Shot One Kill event, I got into a game where people were actively supporting the better snipers by giving them spare ammo. I've never seen that happen in any other game apart from one where all the team consists of friends. It was nice to see that not all the community is selfish.

Somehow, none of the people I played Gears 2 with all the time are playing Gears 3 And if one IS on, he's usually playing Horde

Lol the complaints have never fooled me... I've always loved gears. I just made it a habit now to stay clear of the complaint threads

Gears 2 rank was totaly senseless xD It had no meaning. I got reset too but i can't even get the achiev. for lvl 100 cause of my country

You can´t get an achievement because you live in Germany? Wow that's BS. Why is that?

Ah yes..it's also really fun when you're playing with family too..I played some CTL with my younger cousin earlier..If he was leader, I'd play bodyguard while the rest of our team would go hunting. And if I was the leader, we'd do the same. CTL is fun when you can get a solid, functioning team with good communication.

Unfortunately, my cousin that lives in Italy and has Xbox Live only plays COD:BO :S I have to rely on randoms most of the time Although I sold my old Xbox to my brother and I'm trying to convince him to get off Soccer games and get some Live Gold & Gears 3
