take bots out of the game and make the penalty for quitters MUCH harsher. All bots do is distort stats and waste your team's lives. They're completely useless.

They distort stats (and waste your team's lives in TDM). If the penalty for quitters was let's say losing a whole level, people would only quit when it's absolutely unavoidable. As of now bots are only there for free kills. Maybe every once in a while they'll steal a kill or pickup your favorite power weapon but other than that their useless.

-Too easy to kill, or
-Have eyes behind the head, turn around, blindfire 100% accuracy, insta-down
-Grab map weapons, waste them
-Twirl their smoke grenade looking straight at a player close in on them until they die
-The only pro to having bots is distracting the other team, but that doesn't really help
-etc. etc. could go on and on about the cons

No other (decent) game has bots in multiplayer, so why put them in this one? Leave them in private matches only if you want.

Take out the bots! It makes the game boring joing quick matches full of bots all the time! In gears 2 the bots were better tho! In this one all they do is steal my kills and stand on me while I'm down lol

if we had a lobby system where players could swap sides after each match, meaning that WE could decide which team to be on to make matches balanced, there is ZERO need for bots

getting rid of bots also stops people from boosting

gears of war 1 had the best lobby system

I'm surprised at all the bot hate. I played enough 2v5 and 3v5 in Gears 2 to know that I never want to play that again. I agree that it over-inflates k/d, but I think that's a necessary evil.

As annoying as they are, I don't think they should be removed. As some people have said, it's hard to find a game where they live without bots. I do think though that the Bots need AI improvements to make them less... useless.

The argument is that they are too easy, smart one..
Also, they eat up spawns like no other.
Like someone else said, make the quitters have a much harsher punishment in ranked for sure, but for quickmatch i think this should not apply of u joined in the middle of a match, b/c joining a losing battle is just....

If someone quits a ranked game, they should lose a whole level. That way players will only quit when absolutely unavoidable.

As of now, bots only waste your teams lives in TDM and distort stats. They rarely ever gets kills and the only benefit they possibly bring to the table is being a distraction. They steal weapons and the most completely retarded AI in any video game. Take them out, make the penalty for quitters much harsher. This way, yea maybe once in a while you'll have a 3v4, it might be unfair, but it's better than bots contributing to a players stats, medals, ribbons, etc.

I live in Australia and play 99% of my games on Jap or HK host because of the stupidly high ping times epic have set, I should lose a whole level every time because I refuse to play against someone with an unfair advantage?

If the bots were anything like Gears 2 bots I'd be inclined to agree. But the Gears 3 bots are actually pretty good and not insanely op, so I say no
