Is there a Guardian mod?

I am thinking of getting Gears PC and I am wondering if there is a Guardian mod. That would pretty much seal the deal.

Also, what Gears 2 maps have been remade into Gears PC maps?

No but it's a playlist I am planning on creating on my Project Warzone mod. Security has been remade by Theron and there is a couple of others but I can't remember which. I'm sure there is an avalanche remake aswell.

Wow awesome man hats off to you for attempting to add imo the best mode ever! Tell me, as I know nothing about modding, is this a pretty big undertaking on your part?

Haha no problem man Yeah Guardian was my favourite mode in Gears of War 2, it is far superior to CTL in Gears 3. Guardian was one of my plans for my mod when it came to introducing playlists. Think of Project Warzone as a multiple things in one mod. Since MP is somewhat dead now we have the next best thing, tweaked bots, Project Warzone is/will be actively supported server-side to keep things fresh kind of like Gears 3's weekend events. There will be multiple playlists to choose from. Another playlist gamemode which will be in the works soon is a wingman/TDM/Elimination hybrid.

More info on PW will be posted soon as I haven't updated my thread or anything as of yet, alot of changes have been made since the thread's on these forums on it.

Yeah, I have to admit, his mod is pretty hot. I'm in the process of creating a Pendulum Wars mod that has a Gears-Historical Fiction POV to it.

Will you be adding new weapons like the Retro then?

The Retro, ah yes, the most headache of everything. I only replaced the lancer with the Retro's look. You can't physically "add" a new weapon without UScript (Programming Tool), and Gears editor doesn't have it. So I just replaced the look of the lancer with the Retro Lancer, and yes, you can chainsaw with it too. Lol! I replaced the sound too with the on in Gears 3 for the Retro Lancer. You should really check the thread out, I plan doing some announcements next week, so read up, get updated, and get ready to fight as the UIR!
