First of all, this isn't whining, this is more like a rant, to showcase how this game has already taken a turn for the worse.
I've been off of Gears 3 at least a week and a half since I started my new job.
Seems that every new game I find (And I'm quite fond of KOTH btw...), I happen to be stacked up against a bunch of clan members or level 100 lames who do nothing but Lancer/Hammerburst down you from a distance, Wall bounce to extreme odds to headshot you after they have you confused as to where the hell they just bounced to...
Shotguns are so retarded to me, I swear. I can shoot someone point blank in the face with a Gnasher, MISS or Not get my kill even though contact was made, then get blown to bits from a random shot. What the ****?? Ohhh, and the icing on the cake, raping/jumping you when you're DBNO to embarrass you further.

Now, I've been playing Gears since the very first one, got Gears 3 at midnight release. No, I'm not even close to level 100. No, I'm not "1337!!!" or Pro as some would say. I play for fun, win or lose. But as of late, this game has a total lackluster in the fun department when you run into the same crap every game. How about fix Matchmaking to have it more along the lines of playing people in your skill range? I mean, a level 49 with 4 team mates scrambled between the 20's and 50's shouldn't have to face 4 level 100's and someone in the 90's, all of which being a clan/group.

it may just be me who doesn't really enjoy the game now that all of this crap is going on, but yea. Just my thoughts ladies and gentlemen!

meh, Level doesn't mean everything, I mean more than half the level 100's I see run around with Sawed-Off Shotguns. The only thing I hate about the Gnasher is it's range. It never shot taht far in GoW 1 or 2 and it's the same exact gun...

My thoughts exactly, Hoffman. It's like I fell in love with the game and everything about it. Soon as you get online, that **** just changes your whole feelings of it. Kinda like dating a girl until you find out how much of a slut she used to be.

You guys who complain about how far the shotgun shoots... you do realize that most shot travels 100-200 yeards before the spread is dramatically effected. lets just be thankful that is not the case in this game.

Did you play Gears 2 after TU6? The Gnasher in Gears 2 has way more range than the Gears 3 Gnasher.

the raping thing is a bit over used, i see bad kids use that when they down u and think their 'gangsta' 9 times out of 10 its usually low ranks that do it aswell, the only time i tend to do it is when someone has done it to me, or when someone on my team has constantly taken my kills, then i do it to teach him a lesson as to what he's done wrong, but its part of gears to be fair, been in there since gears 1, but it is a bit sad, shouldnt let it get u down man, but u used a fundamental sentence that most people who play this forget 'I play for fun, win or lose.' its a video game on an entertainment console, some people think its more important then life

Wall bouncing is a fair strategy. However, as for matchmaking, there are no True Skill matchmaking at all. Rank is pointless. It just shows how much more you have played the game at most.
Now, if ranked matches gave you a separate rank that moves up and down depending on how well or poorly you play, then everything would be more fair in terms of matchmaking. Quick matches would be how it is now. If only Epic could do that, then Gears 3 would be even more competitive than before.

Sounds like typical GoW, this game feels so inconsistent to me it's ridiculous. You can play a match and the game hands you the kills for free, next match you are making the same exact shots and not getting nothing. At times when I play Gears I almost feel like I'm playing an MMO, roll up to someone shoot(dice roll 1) no kill, oppenent rolls 2 and you're dead.

The only guns on this game that are 100% are the powerweapons and ARs.

They did this in gears 2 already and ended up changing the ranking system to the scrubby **** it is now. Didn't matter whether you played ranked or not if you were bad you wouldn't make it past 2 bars. i wish they would have kept this.
