Please add more blood to Gears 3.

Dear Epic, I was wondering if you guys could add more blood effects to Gears 3. or just return the blood from Gears 2 or 1. I loved Gears for being the bloodiest shooter on Xbox, but it seems that you guys really toned the blood down this time. The people i've played with and also most of my friends also don't like that the blood is toned down. We the fans just ask for more blood to the game...Love you guys

I have to fully agree with you, OP.
The blood is something I really loved about Gears of War 1. It's what gave the game that Gears feeling.
The game feels a bit too bright.

Completely agreed. Although I think it might just be the lightmass lighting in play, but I felt the darker blood of GoW1 was the most rewarding.

Imagine the dark gore of GoW1 + the amount of gore of GoW2.

That would be the best thing ever.

Pretty sure they can't add this though.

i dont know if it needs more blood but when you shout someone with the gnasher it should still cover your screen like it did in gears 1 that i defiantly miss.

i love it when you chainsaw people in gears 1 and all the blood goes on your screen, but in gears 3 it feels as if it never happens, i cant belive they toned it down so much, the blood effects is what gears of war is all about.

i like it in Gears 2 where you headshot someone and they stay stationary for a second or two and then collapse and how you could kick the bodies about haha

In gears of war 1 when some one dies there was always a big blood puddle on the floor now its gone

I miss the realism of the other two games. Example in Gears 2 any close-up kills would splatter blood on your screen, in Gears 1 the blood would become a puddle of red juice. I totally agree.

i think the blood looked a load better on gears of war 2 than GOW 3, i think they should bring the GOW 2 blood back too

I agree with you completely; however, with how fast paced this game has become since then, would allowing bodies/blood puddles every just create more and more lag, think gears 2 Horde wave 50 all the bodies and chunks of bodies, blood just piled up and started slowing the game down with certain weapons that .5 of a second is enough to make or break a match.

As long as they continue to let the user customize the experience, I think an update like this would be worth it.

I still remember the first time I chainsawed in gears 1 and it was like a fountain.... ahhhhh good times
I didn't really notice a lack of blood in gears 3 (I thought I was just numbed to it after 3 games) but I guess as you said it does have less so im all for adding more
